It would be so great if the background music volume could be lowered, and if the ladies could be set up with mics that catch sound well. Especially at the beginning, I could barely hear any of them over the loud background music, it's very frustrating because I really enjoy their contributions to the video. Exactly!! I agree 100% about the sandwich. I don’t care how hot all these girls look though. Every time I bring Banh Mi home, I open it up and toast it in the small oven til golden brown, put the veggies and pickles, one line of soy sauce, fold it back up and eat it. If anyone live in Southern California, try Lynda Sandwich bc they marinate the meat and shredded chicken pretty well.

As for street food in Japan, I think yakitori or Hakata ramen would have been better but takoyaki is very common. I am not a fan of it but it is quite popular. I prefer taiyaki or yakitori.

Gulab jamun balls are made of MAWA, which is dried evaporated milk solids. Sure they add little bit of flour as a binding agent but main ingredient is still Mawa.

Chinese around the world love the taste of Japanese mochi too! This is because mochi and a lot of Chinese desserts are all made from pounded/kneaded glutinous rice flour (糯米) dough. Just to name a few e.g. Tang Yuan (boiled balls with sweet nutty paste filling inside served in a soup, can be savoury or sweet), Muah Chee (grilled/pan-fried dough coated with sugar and peanuts or other nutty flavours), Jian Dui (deep fried ball coated with sesame ball outside and with a sugary peanut filling inside). I like the creativeness of Japanese to combine this ancient dessert with chocolate and fruits.

Rice was brought over to the Islands of Japan by the immigrating southern clans of what is today called China, I believe the mochi hardening and drying over the winter, and the fresh pounding all comes along with this immigration wave, Japan is a beautiful mix of traditions and culture from many different tribes and clans around Asia, because Japan is the last destination for anyone trying to immigrate east. The Island nation of Japan was once a very very bountiful, fruitful and lush land, it was SO bountiful that the people of Japan is believed to have stayed hunter gatherers longer than any other peoples around the world, simply because there was no need to farm and cultivate.

Gulabjamun is basically a sweet desert which most ppl here eat after any meal ( mostly after lunch or dinner) or if you carving for sweet ppl also eat it anytime they want. Gaulabjamun is indeed too sweet and heavily in terms of calories that's why ppl usually just eat max 3 or mostly 1 at a time. I think it's just me but I don't like the vibes of that Korean girl she feels odd like when she said that those Viet rolls tasted like fried dumplings and then everyone said "yes" she made an expression that was a bit off for me . Gives me pick me vibes tbh . . . No hate tho just my opinion

Bro I'm serious I really appreciate the chinese girl for bringing the lamb skewers!!! As far as I know, lamb skewers are everywhere around street food stalls, my parents are from two completely different parts of China but when I go to street food alleys they usually sell skewers! I think they have a lot of different names but its normally generalised as 烤串儿. I actually live in the mainland rn (despite growing up in southeast asia so yes my first language is english). Street food is always appetizing and it makes me so hungry watching the food.

Dear Everyone, Something's fishy, see this was a very enjoyable video with reactions on the lovely food from many asian countries. You do know that this channel that made the video is Korean right? And you do understand that many Koreans do not like Japan right? I don't blame them, but listen, something fishy is going on in the comments. If you as a viewer watch the whole video it is very clear that the Japanese Mochi and Takoyaki was something everyone was waiting to taste and at least two mentioned as their favorite. The cute Indian girl even votes Takoyaki to be her favorite of them all, and then changes her mind to Mochi after that. The Korean girl mentions how much she loves Japanese food. Now I am a little biased, because I am half Japanese, but I will let you know that my favorite food comes from Vietnam and Thailand. I absolutely LOVE their cuisine. Please do me a favor, look down at the comments, even though the Japanese food was raved about and they spoke quite long about it, not ONE mention in the comments. Chinese food, Koreans food, vietnamese food, Indian food and Thai food al mentioned, but not one mention of Japanese food. I believe some jealous Korean person in the Dimple team is deleting the positive comments about Japan or the Japanese girl or the food.

The Indian and Japanese girls are so stunning. The Vietnamese girls reaction to eating the Indian cuisine was very condescending, she was sniffing and nibbling, making weird faces as if they don’t eat strange things too. What’s funny is it’s just curry. When I tried Indian food the flavors were never something you can’t tolerate

Here’s the thing. As a Vietnamese, I love Indian food. But to some Vietnamese, they’re not a fan of Indian food because it have a strong turmeric smell from the curry and Indian cuisine tend to go heavy on them which is why when she sniff the Samosa, she didn’t like it. Though that does not justify the reason we have a dish call cha ca, which is fish stir-fried with dill and pure turmeric. For the whispering part, Vietnamese, especially the young generation, tend to be a bit reserved. They would usually not say a thing, or if their buddies are around, they’ll whisper to them without letting the others know.
