allowance is something some parents will pay their kids if they do chores around the house. Like mopping the floor, dusting, or what have you- like cutting the grass. This is used to teach kids to learn how to spend money wisely, have responsibility, and work for their money. I agree and disagree with this method. Because I grew up with sometimes getting an allowance but it was like 50 cents for cleaning the whole bathroom or something like that. But I guess I personally don't feel kids should be paid to help clean a house they live in. They are part of the family and I believe we all should work together. But that is just my opinion. :) To each their own.

I thought I was passionate about being a doctor but it was a lie that I had convinced myself to belief. Part of me is proud that they’re all going to live well in a comfortable profession. But a larger part of me feels disappointed that many will fail to reach their potential in life because of the rigidity of these jobs. 金云 I sprained my legs from running too much for PE And I got a B+ rn 😞 but it is PE so they don’t mind as much since I was never the most athletic kid And so I sprained my leg And I got cramps My legs were sore for days And my parents and grandparents said It is because u eat too much junk food 0-o And I barely eat junk food And they also blame everything on my phone I got a 95% once And I figure out my mistake Because I always make a lot of dumb mistakes And they say U should have studied more instead of playing games 0-o #sad

Ivy Z Yikes. My parents (Asian) don’t mind that much when I get a B, although my mom gets a bit bothered. I feel like your parents and grandparents have so much high expectations for you. My advice is just to do your best. Life isn’t fair, but parents like yours care about you and want you to succeed. But, Remember that grades aren’t always everything and they don’t define you. You’re trying and that’s what matters. Wherever you end up going in life, you’ll end up as someone great. Also, find something that makes you happy. Continue to study hard and do your best, but don’t let the negativity get into your mind too much.

OMG sammme I got a 93% (A-) on my English review on the start of the second semester. So, 24/26 she said "Why you miss two question" Me: Bruhhhh its CORONA, I haven't studied in two weeks die to winter break, and I had am TERRIBLE at English grammar. My mom (again) : NO TRACK THIS YEAR.

Andruşca A-N-K I can relate to this so much I have no friends who understand this. Their always like "why doesn't your parents buy x for you" or "why don't you know x why didn't they teach you, you should know "these things" by "this age"". It's hard when you're bascially raising yourself.
