i was confused, that she doesnt know something very famous, but then i remembered, she most likely never had any work with people from manufacturing or it companies and dont have close friends there. But MicroTik basically invented wifi back in 1997 as we know it today. But yeh, its only known by people who actually know what is a tech company, not a poser and advertiser ( ex, apple ), who call europe a non tech continent, because a lot of these things come from small european countries which push the tech forward, like MicroTik has only 1.2B ravenue, but it invented WiFi as we know it today and advances it forward.

On the other hand the Slavs are the last one to have migrated in Europe. I m nor Albanian neither Serbian but you just confirm the fact that Serbian people are not smart at all and full of nationalists like your neighbors Croats who are at least smarter than you.

They are both East Slavic languages and they sound similar to foreigners. I am a South Slavic speaker and I would guess Ukrainian just because it has H where Russian has G. Otherwise they would sound pretty much the same to me.

It is just a stereotype from the Past that Ukrainian and Russian are similar. A lot of Ukrainian words closer to Polish and Slovakian, russians do not know them. In the same time a lot of Russian words have similarities with Serbian, Bulgarian.... Probably, some Grammar rules, sentences structure, words endings of Ukrainian and Russian languages are close + Cyrilic alphabet. But a lot of specific words with diffrerent roots.

@@CinCee- A veces, dos idiomas muy parecidos se consideran diferentes por motivos políticos. El español, portugués y gallego podrían considerarse el mismo idioma. Lo mismo pasa, en el lado contrario, con el árabe o hindi, que los diferentes dialectos son muy diferentes entre sí, pero por temas de historia y política, se consideran como el mismo idioma.

Galicia is very beautiful, consider visiting it if you go to Spain. Also San Sebastián.
The sound quality is so bad that you barely can hear what they are saying. Fix it to the next video please.
He was actually smart to ask how to say "yes" and "no" in each language so he would know if he was getting the questions correct or not. Yet when it came to the Latvian girl, she kept saying "no, no, no" in her language and he interpreted it as "nae = yes" in Korean. 🤣🤣🤣If you pay attention, when she said "no" in Latvian, he said "what", because he clearly misunderstood her answering in her language and thought she responded with Korean "yes". He still did a really good job!

I find it incredibly funny to have people from different culture interact, so much is based on interpretation.

@@hakanstorsater5090 both Portuguese and Galician come from the same language (galaico-portugues). When Portugal gained his independence from the Kingdom of León the language began to evolve in two different ways, the one spoken in the new Kingdom of Portugal and the one spoken in the Kingdom of Galicia (under leones control). The one spoken in Galicia were simplified and had a lot of castilian influence while in Portugal it maintained a lot of things from the "galaico-portugues" like the "ç". So yes, it's like a mix of Portuguese and Castilian but with less Arabic influences.

I've been many times to Galicia. It's a beautiful part of the world. It's true they claim very vocally their "Celtic" heritage, but they do not look alike at all. E.g. I've been both to Ireland and Galicia and the people look soooooo different. The guy in the video though is a perfect example of how Galicians look like "in general": dark hair and southern European features (Galicia is southern Europe)

as Ukrainian native speaker i can say Ukrainian is more sound like Polish or Belarusian languages.Pls don`t compare Ukraine with russia,they always wanted to cancel Ukrainian language and make russian the main language to all USSR countries.(And erase other cultures languages).This is offensive when someone says Ukrainian sounds like russian or russia is similar with Ukraine.

@@you_and_tirana6056 Albanian certainly changed and progressed the last centuries. Icelandic on the other hand is unchanged since the 11th century. So Icelandic is the most archaic and conservative language of the IE family spoken in Europe.

So proud of myself. I am smart enough to tell whether a language is a Romance, Germanic, or Slavic language, so when Latvian and Albanian came, it really threw me off, but I knew it had to be one of the smaller language families in Europe.

It’s because Albanian is not really that wide. It is only spoken by us Albanians and people aren’t really interested on learning it. Anyways greetings from Albania.

As a slavic speaker i could understand some latvian and it made me confused because i never heard such a slavic language. Then i remembered that baltic and slavic language are related and figured it may not be slavic but a baltic language. It sounds like a mixture of germanic and slavic to me.

Yes and she said from East Europe... girl did you know the map of Europe? THe Greece is more in east then Albania for example and you never consider Greece is in east europe. Dishes and food she said "meat"... a u serious?!

As a Bulgarian, I wonder if he would be able to make the difference between Bulgarian and Russian, just as he's having hard time separating Ukrainian from Russian, which for me is a piece of cake, but I would laugh at myself trying to make the difference between Taiwanian, Indonesian, and.. other Asian languages. I recognise Japanese, Chinese, and, last, but no least-S. Korean. Super show❤

As a native Russian Serbian I can clearly say that I don’t almost understand Ukrainian language at all, it has some similarities with Serbian, but very different from Russian with both phonetics and words

Asking how to say 1-10 in your language is one of the best way to guess what language is, you may not know what exact language is, but it may give you some idea of what the language family, group this language belongs to. Also, you can ask how to say family member (father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, etc), natural phenomenon (wind, rain, storm, snow..), common animals and plants, listen to the pronunciation of the language because some languages have unique sounds
