I love the glazes for the shadows, they are so pretty and look so much more 3D than if you were to put a dark orange

+Rebecca Nelson Shadows are tricky. I wanted to put dark orange at first but decided to try something different
Exceptional sketch! Love the colors, the shading... the whole thing!

So well done Teoh! Learnt so much about colors and mixing. Your line work is so clean and confident. I am using Khadhi papers sketchbook these days. They come in a lot of other sizes as well . Looking forward to more videos like these from you.

Hi Teoh! You just keep getting better and better! I really like how you did the shadows in this one. Very impactful! I'm so glad I saw that you drew the sketch with pencil first. I don't feel so inadequate now. For some reason I thought I saw other videos where you just drew right away with permanent pen without any rough penciling. I remember thinking how it would take me FOREVER to master that! Now I don't feel so bad. :) Thanks for sharing! -- Enid

For sketches where I don't draw with pencil first, I have it visualised in my mind. I use pencils for more complicated scenes or where I want it to be more accurate. Drawing with pen just requires you to be more careful.
THIS IS SO GOOD
