My drum cover of Asia's Sole Survivor.
Asia was an early 80's supergroup that consisted of John Wetton on bass, Steve Howe on guitar, Geoffrey Downes on keyboards and legendary Carl Palmer on drums.
Sole Survivor is a track from their 1982 self-titled first album and it's always been a favourite track of mine. Has a bit of time signature changes throughout although I don't what they are when counted out! But I was just trying to keep in time throughout. I might have rushed in some places but I am not sure if this track speeded up at times too. I also had to do some double bass towards the end, however, I am not a double bass player as you probably will hear! Haha
Anyway, here it is. Hope you dig it?

Good job brother. Just had the privilege to see Jon Payne in the 80s rock tour here in Phx Az. They did this as one of their tunes and was so incredible awesome sauce. My 29 year old son is a pro vox and guitarist and was entirely blown away as well As a fellow drummer I thank you for posting. Solid and tasty

Thank you for that! I haven't thought about it because the only time I listened to Carl Palmer was when he was with Asia. Perhaps another Asia tune will suffice? Lol
