hey guys just wondering if the eggrider display will work on the light bee l1e as it has the mid mounted display screen. I am happy to take it off to swap it for the eggrider but i dont know if thats possible, just want to find out before i make the choice on the light bee l1e(road registerable) or the light bee x.

Yea it comes with the top and bottom mount, all hardware required, harnesses, BAC 4000, eggrider, and heatshrink.

Would it not be better to install the BAC 8000 upside down. Then the connectors would be more protected from water and weather. The guys in Australia Get a new bracket so that the plugs can go in with it upside down. Maybe you are getting this new bracket with the new kits.

You can run the controller either way with our brackets/kit. Just a little more cramped with wiring upside down

You had dielectric grease…… and yet ?? Didn’t use it ??? …. Kinda halfass …….and zip ties to hold cheap Chinese wires into harnesses wouldn’t be a bad idea either . 🥴

We take these things on and off weekly for testing making doing those things a waste of time hence why we mentioned it but didn’t do it. Harnesses are made in the US with some domestic materials, but some of the proprietary connectors are only made in China. Would love you to send a US source for every component if ya got one 👍🏽
