Sean's questioning, beyond the wings premise, seems to be a breath of fresh air for the guests, who are used to the toothless, scandalous questions they usually get.

I've seen your comment on a few of these videos and as someone who too is losing hearing (granted mostly in one ear due to combat) I agree, subtitles for such a big channel seems like a no brainer. I watch everything with subtitles, sometimes they're awful outhouse subs with typos or bad timing or completely different words and it's a shame. This show is rare, it shows iconic people at their most vulnerable and humane and asked extremely good questions, it's a shame that more don't understand or forget about the deaf or blind. I'll do the subtitle transcripts, timing and placement if needed! The auto generated is awful. I hope your quest for subs is successful. Personally I say subtitle everything!

this is one of the funniest ones, the way his discomfort leads him into these almost mindless tangents, his outbursts and reactions, then his checking of himself, followed by a calm toned confession or some somber sincerity. this is truly a brilliant format. it serves raw, vulnerable moment just as well as magnetic emotional moments, and of course humor. PS sean evan’s might be the best interviewer of all time.

Man, I love how Ashton just talked to Bill like he was a real person working on the set. He saw his shirt and knew he must be passionate enough to buy a shirt for representation, and asked Bill about it, AND said he'd remember it. Even if he didn't, he made a conscious effort to not dog on his he average guy on set, but to just talk like their the same, just two people having a chat, and I think that's the major difference between people like Ashton and the cult of Hollywood fame.

I am going to guess some people don't do it simply because they can't handle hot food or it might actually be a health risk for them. If I were famous I couldn't do it because that would most likely land me in a hospital afterwards. I would do a "mild ones" with BBQ sauce or something though lol.

It’s funny this got brought up because I tried explaining this to my family when my brother and his wife were expecting their first child. Everyone wanted the kid to have my brothers blue eyes. Sister in law has brown eyes. No one understood that she had to 1) Carry the Blue Eye Genetic trait and then 2) Pass that trait on.

Dude's humble. Why would he want to talk about it? They knew if they asked him about it, the only way he could talk about it, even when he's just mentioning how he does it, etc. etc. could come off as "humble bragging", and he's not about that. Look at how he reacted to the whole world record/dictionary stuff. He was humble there. So if he got asked about something so serious, I doubt there is no way, on the spot, after eating spicy wings, he would have the kind of mental faculties to say something that wouldn't make it seem like he's bragging. I mean, he probably could, but this show is about making the guest eat spicy wings to tear down their personas and get to the real person, so they answer more honestly. Some of these people have a hard time thinking correctly because of the spice, especially after Da Bomb.
