    Lol The Olympics is a scam, just because you can do this doesn’t make you the greatest athlete, these don’t test you vision clarity, your reflexes, punching power and healing abilities, you barely use your brain, all these are attributes of a superior athlete, if you ask me a modern day pro mma fighter is more athletic, all they need is the running ability of these guys. Now I’m curious, if they had all the famous athletes from every sport run a 1500, who, or what group would be the fastest??

  • @SergeantColdgirl

    @SergeantColdgirl

    5 жыл бұрын

    It's called a decathlon since its a combined event of TEN track and field sports hence the Greek prefix "deca-" You garner points based on your points scored from each athletic sport and that adds to your total score altogether. The athlete with the highest score is the determined winner as opposed to positional rank. That's why it's preferred that the best athlete for this should be well-rounded with all sports included rather than specializing in only one.

    What an Athlete he was, to put it even more clearly? If he took part in the Irish national championships Track and field, he wud win the 100 and 400m, hed win the long jump, hed win the 110m Hurdles, he'd medal in the Shot Putt, he'd win the Pole Vault, he'd win the Javelin n quiet possibly win the Discus and possibly win the High Jump and he wudnt finish last in the 1500m Lol. So he'd be on both the 4x100m n 4x400m relay teams for good measure. Simply put "What an Athlete he was back then" I totally respect this man and his abilities to be so good at so many events. Imagine all the training he done to be so perfect. Thanks for the post and thanks to Ashton for showing the world what is possible. For those of you who train Athletics I salute you 🏅🏃‍♀️👏🇮🇪🇺🇸🥇no matter how good you are. But Athletics is the best Sport in the World .. I wonder what Daley Thompson thinks of this guy? Probably thank god he wasn't around when I was the Champion.
