Is it safe to use this technique on a 18 year old who knows the pattern but needs a tune up
Do you like training and competing in split reins or rope/whole reins?
It's physically impossible for a horse to not be hollowed out if their poll is above their wither.

A horses head does not indicate being hollow.

yes, every horse (barrel horse or not) should be able to learn this.
