I'm form Nova Scotia, Canada as well, grew up listening to fiddles and bag pipes and I love that kind of music! Didn't really need to see Ashley's bag OR his pipe but hey, Ashley, you rock bro!! LMAO Keepin' it real from Down East!

Same. Family is from Cape Breton. Arichat and Louisdale.

It's perfectly alright. I'm scottish, and it's legal for somebody to not wear underwear under yer kilt. Because it's a traditional heritage piece of clothing.

friend of mine played for this band on this show...not mentioning names but..he told me Ashley rehearsed that jump beforehand for a while in front of a mirror to get it just right for the cameras :D

After reviewing the comments, I'm seeing a lot of statements from people- presumably of British heritage -who are saying that it's perfectly normal for kilt wearers to flash people and it isn't a considered big deal......interesting cultural lesson there. But keep in mind that in America, adult nudity is considered inherently sexual and private. It's kind of unexpected to be listening to non-sexual folk music then all of a sudden get an up-skirt shot out of nowhere.
