Agro being rude to Ann-Maree (went to air, not outtakes)

Комедия

...but she does get him back for it sometimes.
Clips are from a handful of episodes in 1991.
Agro's Cartoon Connection ran from 1990 to 1997 on Channel 7 in Australia. The show was filmed in Brisbane until 1997. In 1997 filming was re-located to Sydney. Ann-Maree Biggar left the show at the end of 1994 and was replaced by Terasa Livingstone for 1995 onward. The puppeteer and voice of Agro is Jamie Dunn.
A big thank you to PertSnergleman and TheGraymaverick, legends who digitised their old TV recordings.

I was a young cameraman on Cartoon Connection. Cast & crew all had a good time, no stress. You could stand behind your camera, drink coffee, eat packets of Twisties & have a laugh. Unscripted, unrehearsed TV, before all the over produced bullshit were spoon fed today. Sadly those days are gone, never to return.

I did some work experience at ch7 Mt Cootha as a young kid what a cool place that was to hang around. Used to shoot docos in north QLD with Ranger Tim in between filming small forest marsupials we were constantly laughing at shit that you would easily cost you your job now. I think that we will get back our Aussie humor at some point in the future, people being constantly offended all the time is wearing quite thin with most normal people and there will have to be a reset it removes all sense of individuality and self, it will run it's course and we will have a laugh again, it may not be real soon but it will happen and Australia has to be the place for it.

Ann-Marie Biggar - the most "tolerant" co-host(ess) of that show ... it's a wonder she didn't lose her mind and go totally crazy after working with a guy who hid under a desk with a hand puppet for over 5 years. Nonetheless, it made me proud to see Agro's Cartoon Connection on a weekday morning in the late 90's (before SEVEN screwed up, cancelled the show and eventually replaced it with Sunrise); if only to watch Ann-Maree and Agro fight on set. Despite their antics, there was always a mutual respect between Jamie Dunn and his co-host(ess).

Julian Grant nah m8 cartoon connection and cheez tv were separate shows that overlapped briefly whilst they competed between 95 and 97. Cheez tv went on to win that ratings war when cartoon connection was cancelled in 97. I love agro. I am so so glad and so lucky that I was one of thousands of 90s kids who had the pleasure of being in my opinion, to be the last gen of kids to grow up watching all the good shit, before society got too scared and having to dot their I's and cross their t's for every single thing!. And 90s kids are the living breathing proof, that kids can grow up exposed to Aussie treasure's like Agro, and still grow up to become adults with our shit mostly all together... God bless you agro and thank you for being treasured part of my childhood. :)

I mean, of course, in the context of the early 90s he was referring to Saturday Disney, which was in the same timeslot on Channel 7 on Saturday mornings, but considering how much Disney has taken over in the years since this show... it makes this all the funnier today.
