I moved to Australia from the UK with my family when I was six and this used to have me and my brother in tears of laughter. it was so much more chaotic than things like the broom cupboard on BBC......good times alright

This is some LEGIT good stuff. Color me envious. We had some good stuff on German TV, too, but this kind of humor was reserved for late night, lol. Didn't seee that in the morning. You can't have watched this and not grown up a cool person.

@Hans Brackhaus, Not quite the same but 'Hallo Spencer' had some edgy moments too. Watched it as a kid and still admire it's complex, layered humour. It didn't shy away from topics like capitalism, substance abuse, hypnotism, mental issues like depression etc. Unusually progressive. But still with mad hatter humour. Best way to learn German language as a Dutch kid too.

hahahaha remember this as a kid in the early 90s. like a lot of kids who loved agro, most of this stuff sailed right over my head. then he went off the air and was completely forgotten about in my mind. then would you believe it, had these strange recurring dreams and these dreams were of me watching agro but while the character looked familiar, there was no name. he would speak and say all the agro things but no name was put to the face. only after i told my Mum about it she made the connection and said "Look up Agro from Cartoon Connection on KZread and see if I'm right" would you believe it, I have just done this today and it fucking was Agro HAHAHAHAHAHA its a nostalgia overload that I am now heavily addicted to. Where the fuck has he been for the last 20 odd years? even had an Agro soft toy as a kid from memory. It was my all-time favorite.

@@protoindoeuropean The "Truth" was a grotty little Melbourne newspaper published on Tuesdays and Fridays. Always had a "page 3 topless girl" and mostly smutty little stories. That it existed into the '90s I find incredible. I was a newspaperboy in the early 70s and always tried to sell it (after having read most of it :-) )
