Bride's budget - $2000. Vera dress - $3200. When the bride tells you her budget is $2000, respect that and don't put her in a dress she can't afford!

@Andrea Puri It's the consultant's fault, they're the ones pulling the dresses in the first place. Consultant didn't tell her the price until she already had it on. She should've gone with the $900 dress & just had the extra ruffles she didn't like taken off in alterations.

She couldnt make up her mind i think so the consultant made her try a 3200 gown so she could decide between the two

For me, Lazaro dress looks better than the other dress she tried because it suits her figure and she look stunning in that dress. And the price is not too high.

This was really sweet. The entourage was really in her corner. The dress she picked was the best for her, and it was wonderful that the mom was so willing to pay for the overage.

The Vera Wang made her look liked a mummy wrapped in bandages.

I loved the Lazaro. The one she chose is beautiful too. I can see why she was torn. It seemed like she could move better in the Lazaro. She has a beautiful figure.

Both dresses were absolutely gorgeous on her. Glad she decided to go with the first one because it was the way she envisioned her wedding.

I really liked this show. I wish it was still on. I enjoyed them finding their gowns and being so happy!

If you're in a bad financial situation DO NOT BREAK YOUR BUDGET! I don't care if it's "once in a lifetime" DON'T GO OVER. It's not fair to assume your family will pick up the cost, either. Just no.

Lydia Ann I never could figure out why couples who are already in debt throw weddings/receptions..I've watched 2 friends go thru divorce cuz the whole wedding hooplah put them in so much debt.."for rich or poor" my A$$!!

alize0623 no that's literally not their job. Their job is "literally" to sell dresses. And how can they sell dresses if they keep showing the brides stuff they don't even have the money for aka they won't have the ability to even buy the dress. All they are risking is confusing the bride, making them fall in love with a dress they can't afford and making them instead leaving empty handed. Not to mention the time they are wasting showing them something they most likely won't buy when they could've instead just put them in a dress they could afford in turn hopefully they find their dress quicker allowing for the next bride to come in so they can make more money by moving on to the next sale and the next sale. There's a reason they ask the budget Babe..

Her dress is AMAZING, extremely unique and she looks gorgeous!

The first dress was perfect!!! And suited her the most. Glad she picked it.

Why on EARTH would a consultant pull a gown that is 60% over budget?! AND she was already seriously considering the $2,100 Lazaro, but expressed a concern about the princess shape not being what she had thought that she had wanted - and the consultant brought out the princess shape Vera Wang (which, BTW, did not look nearly as good on her as the Lazaro dress).

Why do they always show brides dresses that are over their budget... so sleezy

Of course she was enamored with the brand. Who doesnt dream of a Vera Wang or a Lazaro? But in the end it was the dress that looked the best on her.

Maddy Grabham that's my favorite style and imo the most flattering style because it really accentuates your curves. Looks especially nice if your waist goes in and you have a non-flat butt lol. Of course not all mermaid dresses are nice tho cause you just gotta get the right type of mermaid. I really disliked all the dresses she tried

First rule of wedding dress shopping: stick to your budget! Second rule: try one of every shape on. I hated mermaid styles, tried them on, still didn't like them, but ended up choosing a shape I'd not have thought I'd go with.

If a bride is SPECIFIC about a budget with a consultant, then in turn the consultant, without the brides knowledge, brings out a dress over said budget - and unknowingly the bride falls in love with the dress… The store should be responsible for paying the difference between the STATED budget and the ticket price!!!

Don’t get stuck on an idea. I have heard that brides often buy exactly the kind of dress they swore they _didn’t_ want. I always said the one thing I would _never_ wear was a lace dress! guys sometimes the bride asks for a dress that actually exceeds their budget, when the consultant gives bride a dress that fits their budget, they doesn't like it. so the consultant just want to give the bride exactly like the bride wants, it’s not entirely the consultant’s fault. that is my opinion
