It has been 8 months since this was video was made. You stated that you also own a sampleit and a standard Ashford RH loom. Having access to all 3 what is your opinion of the knitters loom. Which loom do you like best. I have read several negative reviews of the knitters loom. The yarn shop near me quit carrying them because people had problems with them. I want one…. I think. I wondered if some people were suffering from user error or is it just a bad design. I figure after 8 months you have probably have used it enough to know. Thank you.

Good Morning Ms. Oliver, Emily and I have been running around like the peverbial chicken. I'll get her to edit this response today or tomorrow. I think she can share her experience with you. I think she has most all the looms! Or at least that's what our living room looks like. Hahahaha (when she edits this, she's going to say "He thinks he's funny". And I do. If I could put a photo of the kraft area in the living room, it would make sense... Kevin

Hello Melinda, I am so sorry I never gotten back around to making another video. Kevin is right, The past several months have been CRAZY! and he does think he is funny, on occasion he is, lol... So after being able to use all three looms I actually LOVE the knitters loom. I haven't had "issues" per se. Ever once in a while I will have tension issues. which is probably what the others were talking about. I have more tension issues with that loom than the others... The samplIT loom is just too small and my 32" RH is large... I would highly recommend the 24" RH loom above all else just because I have less tension issues with that one. But I do love the fact that the knitters loom comes lacquered and it is a great size. Its portability is fantastic and if you are willing to just learn your loom it is a great little work horse! If you have any other questions please let me know. AND hopefully once all of the holidays and vendor events are over and the crazy settles down I can finish up these videos on all of these looms. Thanks again, Emily

What do you clamp it with when you warp?

Morning Billie, I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Emily was making cheese with a neighbor and I left the farm yesterday at 3 am. Never a dull moment here in the middle of nowhere convenient to nothing! There are two small clamps that she uses to hold the loom down and one to hold the (now for my ignorance...) the rod thingy... The rod thingy has a small wooden base and in that is a hole for the clamp similar to the one in this video at 6:13 in time. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nIaeq9eul5Ceqs4.html Her larger looms have to clamps. It holds the loom or thingy to the counter top. You could certainly use other clamps to hold the items down too. These were designed for this purpose and are not in the way at all. Thanks for watching and posting your question. If you need more info, Emily will be available later today. Thanks Kevin

Thanks so much! I own Ashford 24”rigid heddle and an sampliet and they both have holes in them to clamp the loom to the countertop. That’s why I was confused because there are no ho,es on the knitters loom to clamp it. So I guess I’ll just use two clamps and fingers crossed! Thanks again!

Ms. Martinez, Thanks for watching our videos! I'm not sure what you mean by a "male covering some of the video?". I filmed this one myself and I put the segments together for my husband to finish the editing. Kevin does help me film a lot of my videos. Is there something being show that would be suggestive? We would not want to do anything like that. Thanks watching and your help understanding what might be happening. Emily
