Thats interesting because in gw2 i find it opposite, youre wanting a flying mount to join the rest of the players in metas etc.

I love that they are creating alot of skins and cosmetics, but if you have a bear mount, the skin for that mount should be looking like a bear.

Battle mounts like in Albion online would be cool, important and super expensive mounts walking around the battlefield, supporting allies and throwing burning oil barrels at enemies

I feel like it'd be an annoying technical problem to change your mount from an elephant to a horse. Both animals habe different snap points, hit boxes, movement speeds, ect. I feel like maybe Steven meant that you could change the elephant's base skin to a different kind of elephant?

I hope this is the case, but from the wiki it seems that any skin can be applied to the appropriate tier. For the elephant it’s slightly different, since it will be a group mount. So I don’t forsee a horse becoming an Elephant or the other way around. 👍

Also I agree, the cosmetics hide too much, but whatever.

@@Lazy_Tavern you made a good point, you don’t know what you are up against. Not only that, it just seems silly to me. I feel like people should just go find the mount they like the skin of. Like the actual mount. This is most definitely the worst thing I’ve heard about the game thus far. lol weird.

they mount system in GW2 freaking SUCK! I hate the way they have them, if Ashes does their mounts like GW2. It will turn me off from the game big time. Every game would have flying mounts and they shouldn't be limited, for me a flying mount open up the world more and makes you look the areas as a hole world and not just on area at a time.
