This is one of the prettiest tornados I have seen on youtube, either that or the cameras and technique is getting better.

I hope you send this to the owner of that farm at the end of your video. What a cool shot and story for generations.

Look up Yazoo City tornado for some amazing drone tornado footage that was captured about a weeks ago.

I went to college in southern Minnesota from Seattle and saw some of the most amazing storms of my life, so its great of you to share this beautiful footage, (hoping no one was hurt) and for bringing back memories of driving through those cornfields.

Very nice chase of a long track tornado. i remember the thrill of the chase and the excitement. How i miss the old days.

It would be interesting to picture the pathway of the tornado from above as it looks like a trench on the left where it certainly dug into the mud !!

This footage is absolutely amazing. The detail allows you to see the raw power that these things can have. It's like a literal drill bit. Tornadoes are beautiful when they stay in a field and don't hurt anyone. I hate to learn that this one caused fatalities. Rest in peace to Seth. Crops can be replanted, property can be rebuilt, but you can't bring back a life that was lost.

The weird thing I saw in your video is dry roads and the sun was out during a tornado!! I will say that was some awesome footage!!

UNREAL ! When you've seen on tornado video you've... NOT THIS Time ! The entire video is real intense. Many people, when filming something incredible, Choke, resulting in poor footage. Well Done Guys.

That film is both good and stupid. Apart from the drive-in movie theatre tornado, every other tornado in the film just suddenly ends/dissipates when the main characters are caught in it for 10 seconds. There was that one under the wooden bridge when the yellow truck gets destroyed it dissipates while over the bridge. There was the one with the twin tornadoes which again dissipates after spinning the red truck a few times. There was that mega F5 one where they had to strap themselves in to some piping, oh its suddenly gone? I mean what gives?

I can only imagine what it would be like for the owners of that farm if they were watching it from the farm.

Must've been beautiful. You can tell it's only an EF0-EF1 at that point, and almost stationary. I'd have loved to have been there, cigar and a drink, watching the rope out.

Wow. First: how tempted were you to fly the drone right up and over the top of the funnel? Second: Those are so majestic to watch from a distance and I know what those people in that farm house are going thru. When I was younger our place, that was just like this, way out in the country got hit twice in one year by a tornado. It can sure tear up a lot of structures in a very short time period. I have to say, this is by far the best footage I have ever seen of one on the ground as long as this was. Good job.

I love it when I'm watching a tornado on one KZread channel and I see two other KZread channels where I've seen the same tornado pull into frame.

I have been directly under one of those bowls. With no safe place to hide if it dropped. Awe struck! It ripped the roof off of the car wash along the highway about 300 yards away. Tossed the entire roof in two big pieces, right onto the highway.

@@jasonbednarUSA You had a unique view. Generally, you can be assured that someone will be ten feet away because that's where so many people try to be. It's good to see the storm in addition to the tornado. Your view from the south or southwest really showed how much that storm was rotating before it produced the tornado and offers an explanation why it got so strong. The tornado was not a fluke-- there was a lot of vorticity at the storm scale that could be stretched to produce a strong/violent tornado. That perspective is missing in most of the other videos I've seen.

Amazing and awesome. Nature in all its majesty and power. I've never seen a tornado "live" and if I did I'd probably drive very fast in the opposite direction or burrow underground, depending on where I was! Shame about poor Seth and all the others who've lost their lives in such circumstances. It must be terrifying to be caught by one of those!

The footage from the drone is amazing. Been looking for something like that. Plus, the footage from those cars on the track at the end is great too. Just seen that. You should do a time comparison of all the footage, so you see the car footage and the drone footage time synced .

I remember this day while the tornadoe sirens all around us where going off then we heard the news of people passing away this was a scary night but what a neat video

18 months ago we lost our home and shed to a tornado. Yes it sucks tremendously. I still have ptsd, especially since watching this.

Super photogenic, relatively slow moving tornado. Great drone shot at the end. Sad to know this tornado took a life and injured 2 others, but at the same time grateful it was over mostly over open fields and terrain.

It was nice that the tornado went politely around that farm. You can see from the ground scouring it was on a collision course but decided to steer left around the trees before resuming it's original course.

Could of sworn I heard Reed Timmer yelling violent tornado on the ground. Look at that debris. Stop right here. Back up 50 times in a row.

Wow, absolutely amazing,haunting and beautiful. The sun was out birds were singing and this was happening. Thank god it missed that farm, it expanded so much. I wonder do tornadoes ever change course and go back or do they just move in one straight path?

6:11 I live in Utah... Ive never seen that here. the last time a major tornado hit was 2016 and it destroyed 1 home. the other was 1999 and sadly killed 1 person from a tree falling on him.

There's another chaser on youtube who's in the car that passes the other--he got some astounding shots of that crazy drill bit as it went past that clump of trees & out into that field.

The only other tornado that I’ve seen move slower than this one was the Elie, Manitoba F5. That thing literally sat in one spot for several minutes, circled around, then came back and hit the same spot again!

I actually said "Wow!" out loud watching this. Amazing chase/video/storm. Even the wall cloud on this was beautiful and photogenic. Sad that somebody died from this though.

Just magnificent starting at 9:50 ,marveling stunning drone footage.I was totally stoked watching this beautiful footage.Thoughts and prayers to all effected by the tornado.

That pic at the end by the farmhouse should be hanging in their house for many generations .

This is one of the creaziest tornado capture I've ever seen! :O Holy shit! Amazing job Jason, even with drone! And the tornado looks so good! That screaming guy in the car is like me when I'm chasing haha

"Jason", this vid was outstanding! What stands out for me, are the ACCURATE sonics of this tornado; your recording equip is TOP-calibre (Even if I'm yet to experience my first tornado, this is just my intuition.). Substandard equip will just make a lot of pink noise, that drowns out all other sound, if you so much as breathe within six or so inches of the microphone, does it not? Here is how I imagine the sound to be, actually, IN PERSON: so loud and powerful, that the mid to low frequencies gives the sensation that the organs in your chest feel as if they're being "homogenized", with unbelievably heavy vibration from the ground that you stand upon, and the higher frequencies make your ears feel as if they are going to start bleeding, any second. Have I indeed, correctly imagined a tornado's sonic impact? Y'know I'd be CAREFUL, about the deployment of these expensive . . . almost priceless drones . . . one never knows when these beasts are going to toss out an errant finger of wind that will wad up and dash a fine drone to the ground, but of course, that's rather obvious to you.
