People are always taking photos, facetiming etc in supermarkets. People take pics of items for sale to send to family to see if they want it. Why on earth were they bothered? It's mind boggling

If someone asks someone else not there, if they want something, then the corp will see that as preventing someone from impulse buying or spending on more, as they're not there themselves to buy said product. It's all about the money.

@@sararichi1463 probably any business course. When I did business, tesco used to be very accomodating and would disclose many of their tricks to keep people spending. Doubt they'd be like that now, as I am going back 20+ yrs.

The staff have demonstrated to every thief in the area: If you want to rob the place blind, get a mate to take a few pictures, it will herd all security and staff away. Good job Asda!

Thirty members of staff on the shop floor standing removing a replacing the same tin of baked beans onto the shelf as they watch you out of the corner of their eyes deciding what size of toilet roll you'll go for.
What is the big deal, everything is recorded anyway. Its just a power trip. They move stuff around so that you can't get used to where things are, it's so that you will have to go to different areas within the store, therefore seeing more products and usually picking up more items, im sure you knew that. Just like when they used to stack all the sweeties at the checkout so that kids can put mum on the spot..
What about when us, the general public are filmed every single time we enter their stores without our permission ?? xx

I think his reasons for taking the photos were a joke to wind up the security guard and make him look stupid. as no videos and photos are going to help visually impaired people unless he does commentary. Sure its not blindness but it would be more difficult to make out a picture on a computer screen that it would to actually be there.
Reminds me of how every teenage shop assistant suddenly became a fully qualified pulmonary consultant during COVID mask mandates, trampling all over the equality provisions set out for those medically exempt from masks (equality act 2010.) Would be interesting to discover if a single business got sued or even just fined for equality violations.

They take pictures of you on self checkouts and cameras in the store shoppers should start requesting it afterwards to prove you did pay for all your purchases

I've been asked by Asda staff not to film the sandwiches 3 times in the last month. I've filmed the sandwiches in Greggs and the staff were fine with it.

I recently stopped shopping at Asda because I learned of the chemicals that sprayed on their fruit and veg enabling them to remain on the shelves for longer periods of time. Give them hell Mark you’re doing a great job!😂😂😂😂😂

@@lilhazey1128 The chemicals which are sprayed onto the fruit and veg which they sell for the producers are called Imazalil and Fludioxonil which are known to be toxic, affecting the kidneys.

I’m all for audits of government officials, police, traffic wardens and other contractors on behalf of councils. But ordinary people just trying to go about their day at work being harassed by trolls is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Exactly how I’m treated on a daily basis. Disability isn’t a thing to THESE PEOPLE! everyone is identified as normal, healthy people!!! The contempt for disabilities in BANES(Bath Area), especially if you are hated by the establishment. Absolutely awesome exposure on this very type of engagement. Constantly looking for angles to put you down & have you at a disadvantage(gaslighting) Disgraceful behaviour towards ANYONE that they take a dislike to.

Here’s a bit of info that probably not many people know: each time you use the self checkout, you are being videod by that machine. I pulled my local Asda up on that, they waffled that it was to make sure that if you asked for cash back and forgot to take it from dispenser, they would know who it belonged too! What utter crap!

A few years back our own Asda's, I was walking around the aisles as you do and as I am at the till this witch woman came running up to me screaming about me vaping in the store which I had not. I was just holding it with my keys, basket etc and this cow just laid into me at top of her voice... well as it happened I knew one of the head head honcho's, a David McKenna who was an avid vaper and he rained all hell on the woman, her manager etc, she didn't lose her job which I never intended but she lost all seniority reduced to basic shelf stacker over it. Even today she blanches when she sees me walking round shop the miserable cow :(
