My favorite memories of Ascarate Park is going in the early, mid 1960's. Mom and dad would take me and my brother to feed the ducks and if they had a little bit of spare money ride the rides at Western Playland. Looked a lot different back then. And I believe they even had people water skiing back then. Anybody remember that? Great memories for sure.

Absolutely love the tour of the park. Been living here pretty much all my life and just barely learned about the history thanks to your video! Great job! About to check out the Hueco Tanks video. I’d love to watch a video about the Chamizal National Park.

It's about 16 minutes to downtown, on the east side, just north of Montana. It's pretty close to the airport, older, established homes in that area.

Fishing in a dried land. The title should be "squeezing juice from a rock."

Are there any swim spots in that lake? Are there any swimming holes along the Rio Grande for people to enjoy? So far the only places I've seen to get in the water are stunning pools......

Not sure if people swim in the lake or not. When there's water in the Rio Grande (summer), people kayak on the river.
