I have seen some people say that the pickle picker itself feels pretty unimportant but I would like to remind folks that not every single pickle has a vinegar solution, some are made with salt brine and if you contaminate the solution it can in fact mess up your pickling. Us Appalachian folk tend to pickle almost anything it seems

I actually fully like the idea of thos slap bracelet jar openers. Theyre easier to place and use than a rubber band and could help people with weaker hands or other problems a whole lot.

I'm just hoping it was intentional... 'Cause damn....
The moment the Wii and 360 fell off the table broke my heart.
To open jars, I think the best method is a square of that rubbery fridge/cabinet liner stuff. You can get a big roll from the dollar store or a much thicker and better version from any department/home store for a couple more bucks and it'll last forever. I have carpal tunnel and that stuff is a life saver. :)
Salt your ice water when cooling beverages. It lowers the melting point of the ice, so it gets even colder.
I'm now calling La croix, L.A. Croix from now on

If it had a lever to raise and lower casters, it would be legitimately useful. Appliances often times have rubberized feet so that they don't walk while in use.

So naturally I go out to buy a *SpinChill™* the very next day. At the next party many girls walked up to me, but as their eyes wandered from my hand holding the *SpinChill™* to my face, I could see their expressions change from utter arousal to disgust. I must have gotten a faulty device.

Pro tip from my alcoholism days: Adding some salt to that ice bath will cool your beverage even more.... Or... dampen a paper towel, wrap the beverage, and place in the freezer for a couple minutes. Just make sure you don’t forget about it.

Instead of the pickle picker, I use a magical device called chopsticks. Use them for noodles too.

Not to be pedantic or anything but the first measurement was made inside the can, so just to satisfy my scientific side I would have measured all in the can just in case.
No slip mats (like the ones used for tablecloths, placemats etc.) work great for opening jars and bottles. Just get them at your local Dollar Tree store, cut them into 4 smaller square pieces and keep them in a drawer. That's what I use and they are super handy.

That's what I use. I just used a mat for the pickle jar about 5 minutes ago. I cut the mats and use them for multiple tasks but they're great jar and bottle openers.

For jars you could always take a butter knife jam it under the lid and get a little air in there and it will open no problem.
As an Asian, when I saw pickle picker I was like JUST USE CHOPSTICKS

I use a piece of a rubber shelf liner cut into a circle or square and that works just as well as a rubber band. I crochet a boarder around to make them look fancier.
