The uncle-niece relationship can be wonderful! I'm almost 39, doctor for almost 15 years! When we desagree on smth , my uncle still asks me "Is this black or white", kind of, are you going to give me a slack on the conversation or no! The answer STILL IS, THAN BLACK/WHITE it is!
