Actually there's was nothing about BL or neither Bromance, since the young judge was in love with his friend female cop. I don't get how you people can say this series gives bl vibes? I watched the whole thing and only the devil judge gave gay vibes, but the young judge only gave 100% straight vibes. Nothing bl, bromance and especially homoerotic was shown in it

There is definitely something going on betwren the two although it is never openly revealed. The young judge may be in love with this childhood friend, the lady cop, but from his looks and the way he acts he's definitely attracted to the older man. The BL aspect is very subtley handled.

And sorry, but Gaon had zero hetero vibes, he never dated anyone and never got interested in any girl in the series, he was constantly perused by his friend but clearly while he cared a lot for her, he had no sexual attraction to her whatsoever. He eventually says - let's be together, and even kisses her half heartedly and then spends the night on the floor. When she was dying and said she loved him he didn't say the same. Yet at the same time he keeps living with YoHan and taking care of him constantly, like cooking for him, waiting to start dinner when YoHan comes home from work, mending Yohan's relationships with his niece, worrying about him, staring at him all the time. And when YoHan supposedly dies his reaction is much stronger than to the death of his friend. So yes, Yohan is more mature and more aggressive, so he gives a stronger sexual vibe, but again that's totally canon in bl that one partner might be young and pure, without any explicit sexual interest.

This much tension btw men not gonna happen in real life. Writers know what they are doing, all this tension in the name of bromance is to hook fans into this drama. The BL vibes...they are willingly giving it. Anyway actors and drama is really good so no complaints 😁

It might be hard for them, and not because of the government or something. Just I can see in many shows that even male-female romance isn't always easy for the actors. You can see how they struggle with kissing each other. It's one thing to act romantic interest and another thing to actually have a kissing or a bed scene with another person. With BL it becomes even harder, as it would be hard to hire good actors to do kissing scenes. We might see some mainstream dramas to introduce bl couples but without any intimacy, actually like here, as it's a criminal drama, not romance.

Its not just eye candy for you its important representation for gay people, and we could avoid actors struggling to do kiss or bed scenes in LGBT media by just, you know, hiring lbgt actors.

@@elizebethochoa8979 do you really think its easier for LGBTXQ+ actors to kiss strangers than for a straight one? If you're secure in your sexuality and don't need to be scared to kiss the same gender in an acting scene and get vilified or loose roles/your lively hood because of it, it should be no harder to kiss a female or male stranger. It's societies hang ups that make it bad and thats sadly all over the world not just Korea. Representation however intended or unintended is very important and if that means straight actors acting gay (or implying gay) I think is a great thing.

@@Bag0505 I don't, if the entire point of a movie is too give representation to a group of people yet they don't cast that group of people to play the group of people then what's the point in the first place?. And if a straight actor is uncomfortable kissing someone of the same sex for a scene then good for them, they don't have to act it. There are so many gay actors who would love to be in the next lgbtq+ movie to act things they've probably had to go through themselves, we don't need to give it away to somebody who finds acting certain scenes hard because they're straight. I'm just saying the whole 'we can't give you intimate scenes because we have to accommodate an actor we didn't have to cast in the first place' is a dumb argument in my opinion. We shouldn't have to give away intimate representation because a show or movie had to cast a straight person.

In some ways this drama reminds me of Hannibal series specifically the location of yohan House (library)ring Bell of Hannibal room and of course the relationship between this two handsome

It’s normal that Gaon triggers memories of Isaac to Yohan bc they have the same face, but I don’t think Yohan is seeing him as Isaac nor as a substitute! I think he separates it well so far :) this detail only contributed to make Yohan more curious and open to him, but it’s Gaon himself that’s making Yohan interested and wanting to get closer. Let’s hope I’m right, so don’t worry! And BL or not, I don’t think I can stop shipping the lawful husbands now 😭

From what I know, Minjung's character, one of the two female leads, has an interest in Jisung's character and wants to have him, but she's his enemy and he hates her (not in "a love to hate" way, it's really hate, actually he hates eveyone besides his niece and now Gaon) and they won't be together. The other female lead (gyuyoung) has a one sided love for jinyoung's character and he rejected her 5 times and doesn't want to lose her as a best friend, they probably won't end up together.... but they could be. This drama has some homoerotic vibes so that's why jinyoung and jisung look like the real main couple, and I love it too! hehe

If no Gaon x Yohan relationship, then let's hope for the absence of love stories in the drama cause EVERY other pairings would be a bad decision from the scenarist. Sunah and Yohan would be extremely dangerous for each other and the whole society, Gaon and his friend cop would be way too clichée, Gaon and Judge Oh would be weird since there's no tension between them, same for Yohan and Judge Oh. And there's Minister Cha and Elijah left... Well I don't think I need to explain how weird it would be to put Elijah in a relationship with Gaon ._. So, imo, it's Gaon x Yohan or nothing ! (And I hope it'll be nothing cause their relationship could quickly become toxic)

There’s no twins in this. But Yohan had a half-brother that has the same face as Gaon’s (a look alike, but they’re not related in any way, it’s just a coincidence that made them get closer faster)

Whoaaaaa 🤯 I pray that they don't have any actual female sort of lover for any of these two. They need to have this heavy tension and be evil to the core! To the very end of the drama!

*Spoiler alert, don’t read now if you don’t want to know* One of the female leads is the real villain behind everything and hurts everyone, she’s obsessed with Yohan but Yohan despises her and all the times they have an scene he’s just forced into interacting with her and then finds a way to avoid it or make it short. So they definitely won’t be a couple. And the other one is a childhood friend that has an unrequited love for Gaon and was rejected 5 times, even her choice of career was to protect Gaon (which I think is really bad and boring that a female character is only built around a man and nothing else). We’re in episode 6 as of rn and they still didn’t develop any progress in regards to Gaon’s feelings towards her. He sees her as a best friend and is very platonic. If they do make Gaon reciprocate her out of nowhere in the last episodes I’ll pretend it didn’t happen bc srsly it would be a shitty romance development and wouldn’t make sense in my head. It would have been way more nice if she didn’t like him at all and we could enjoy their scenes and dynamic as good friends. Gaon starts living with Yohan from episode 3 and it doesn’t matter if they fight or argue, Yohan never tells him to leave and Gaon doesn’t leave either haha they understand each other like no one else can and slowly get attached and start to work together. So yeah, I pray they keep things that way until the very end too!!

@@bbboopc I'm a sucker for spoilers anyways. 😂 Thanks! But I'll still wait for the drama to end and then binge watch. It's a pain following ongoing dramas and then witness a dissatisfying ending. Thanks again!

@@ankapiyaedison I’m the same as you but for some goddamn reason I saw it on viki the day it aired for the first time and got curious to see if I would like the first episode to watch it in the future but then Gaon and Yohan won me over and now I can’t stop watching and have to wait and suffer

@@bbboopc I didn't even watch a single episode and I'm whipped for these two. On the contrary their BTS clips are so cute! "Dangerous bromance" and lady villain seem to be new kdrama trend these days. 🤩
