    The song is actually a b-side. They wrote it for Shaped By Fire but at the time they finished the album they felt like the song still needed some fine tuning. It will now be included in a deluxe edition. I hope you check out the new Fit For An Autopsy track dude, it's great!

    I can ALWAYS count on As I Lay Dying to give me my classic high school /college days of melodic metalcore. Still one of my favorite bands to this day. Also, that solo though 🤤🔥🤘 I also really miss when bands favored shreddy riffage.

    This is a B-side written by Phil Sgrasso, the other guitarist that didn’t leave.

    I really love how you break down the song and analyze it, I don't know if that's new or if i just didn't notice it that much in the past but I really love that type of reactions. A lot more in depth like I'm used to with other reaction channels.

    Tim said it was a B side from shaped by fire that Josh and Phil reworked and added new life to. I think this song was kind of a statement from Phil showing that he doesn't need another guitarist XD

    The main riffs of all their songs get absolutely embedded into your brain. That opening riff brought me back to the first time I ever heard Confined.

    Kind of disappointed to read that this is a b-side from their latest album. Along Trivium, these guys were one of my first bands that introduced me to metalcore back in 2005. This simply brings back so many memories!

    In the song of theirs “The Wreckage” the used drop Eb on Seven string so more of that would be cool from them

    Not first, but great reaction as always. I agree with your feedback. Def feels like some mid-00's core. It feels familiar but fresh enough to hold my interest. I'll be curious to see the reaction from the community at large. The solos are great though. Here's your friendly reminder to give Nightlife - New Low a listen. Also, my thumbs are getting tired. Much respect 🤘✌️

    AILD ALWAYS DELIVERS

  • @northernninety7
    @northernninety72 жыл бұрын

    AILD has become simpler and very by the book since their early days but damn they do it so well. You got bands like Like Moths To Flames who try go very complex with their formula but sometimes it's too much. Classic is classic for a reason. It will always be like wine. But new and experimental metal trends eventually die.

    not that different because Tim is the main songwriter of the band. He writes all the lyrics and co composes all of the instrumental parts

    @AcidRainR6 correct. Not many know that Tim is more or less the creative driving force behind the band. As I have written as well, he writes all the lyrics by himself and co-composes the music on every song
