Nowadays we are bombarded by new sounds every day, somehow makes us forget how the original sound sounded like. They did it right by bringing back the nostalgia to us. It's the sound we all wanted to hear all along. I personally love the bridge+outro part really brings me back and never gets old to my ear.

I've been struggling mentally for the past decade dealing with a whole background of being dogged on and treated like garbage. I joined the military and had the displeasure of being under the most toxic of leadership. Two of my friends committed suicide and I left. I tried helping who I could while I was in letting them know what rights they had as junior enlisted so they couldn't get bullied around. After I left I lost my son and my mom around the same time along with both my grandads, my health took a major plunge and a slue of other things This song has helped alot with me dealing with it. Getting motivated and having a perspective shift.

The most consistent metalcore band out there. They're never insecure about their self image or how the world perceives metalcore. They just like it and they continue to play it their own way instead of being insecure about sounding like 2003.

Man, 10 years ago AILD gave me a reason to live, when i was all alone. They did what no one else did - they built my character, they gave me the way of thought, they gave me some skin, some armor, they made me get up from my lowest low. 10 years later some stupid shit still can destroy me in just a moment, but AILD never left me and always held my back. Right now i am falling again but next week i am gonna see AILD twice on 24th and 25th. Writing this with tears in the eyes.

Hell yeah brother! AILD helped me through some brutal workouts and tough times to keep pushing through. My favorite band of all time. Seen them live recently always regretted not seeing them when I was younger before the mishap and was so happy and astounded they got back together. I watched their brutal videos of how it affected all of them in their own way and how each individually dealt with it. Keep pushing through and I'll be rooting for you. Everyone deserves happiness =]

Erra used to be the best band ever, but now without Garrison and Alen, they're pretty meh at best. JT or whatever is a subpar vocalist and I don't think Jesse should be anywhere near being the lead vocalist. After hearing Drift, I refuse to listen to Neon or whatever their album is called.

I literally got tears in my eyes when I started watching this video. Proceeded to buy tickets to their show. I've been listening to this band since I was in high school (2007), and this is an absolutely glorious return.

They are popular and are DAMN good, but not the godfathers of metalcore... I would argue that crown goes to Zao. I'm willing to bet you may not have heard of them or listened to them. Not gonna lie, I relapsed a shit ton but now its 3.5 years sober and even with my dad unexpectedly passing away a year ago from a heart attack at only 56 years old, I still stayed strong even though that was the most toughest, fucked up thing I ever had to deal with. Just stay strong and true to yourself dude!!

The only Metalcore band to be consistent thru each & every album cycle for almost 20 years…adapting their sound as time goes forward & even with the whole Tim situation they still come out swinging %100 & it’s such a beautiful thing to witness, so glad I found this band ages ago ❤️

Over the years, As I Lay Dying has kept the heaviness 100%. So glad to see they haven’t lost their touch 🙏🏼🤘🏽

Their Guitar tones and riffs have always stayed the same, however progressed over the years obviously. Being an avid enthusiast of As since their first demo. They have always had the same style. The missing link was Tim. They tried Wovenwar but let’s be real...no thanks

As I Lay Dying and August Burns Red are the only bands who haven’t disappointed me yet.

As I Lay Dying is truly a band that has stuck to their roots for themselves and their listeners. Even with their ever-growing popularity and enormous fan base I still consider them a criminally underrated band. Much love from Massachusetts!

Man so many great albums have come out. And Fit For An Autopsy is coming in november. This is by far the best year for metal releases in yeeears.

2019 has officially become the year of metal.

Even if you don't like metal, you have to admit that this is art at its best.

I bought the new album (Japanese edition) the other day and was really moved when this song started. Their music style hasn't changed at all. I'm really happy that AILD start making great music again. Hope they will come to Japan.

@@FirearmsofAmerica well i see we have different taste but I think what AILD does with this album is the perfect fusion beetween classical metalcore (as In Flames, old Parkway Drive...) and more modern core (such as Architechts, Wage War, or FFAK)!
