Straight sets win for Rybakina and yet we see mostly Sabalenka highlights. Another great edit from WTA youtube 🙌🏼
The best tournament for Rybakina since Rome! That's her, when she is 100% healthy and confident! Almost unbeatable and nightmarish opponent for every player, including for Swiatek and Sabalenka! Also notice the last set result in her matches in Beijing - 6:2 against Zheng, 6:0 against Maria, 6:1 against Mirra Andreeva and 6:2 against Sabalenka. Rybakina deserved a win, like this after very tough recent months, full with injuries and illnesses! I hope for Iga vs. Elena final!

This match really shows who the best server in the WTA is. Sabalenka is a very good returner but she was unable to break Elena's serve. @user-hm8nb5jr3w
7 ай бұрын
@@nonymcat5709 I don't see Cincinnati as an outlier. Recently, many women have figured out Iga, even Pegula beat her twice this year, Rybakina and Saba beat Iga every time they played on hard court this year. Iga has consistently been given easy draws with very soft earlier rounds, when she started playing top players in later stages, she started losing. Unless Iga has developed more tools or changed her pattern to give surprises, hardly see she can beat in form Coco on hard court. Let's see. For the reason Coco, Rybakina ,Saba, got a much tougher draw, they earned their spot for every round with no gift like Iga. I like to see them win. Coincidently the players from flagless countries are always on the same side of draw and have to eliminate each other earlier. Rybakina (an ex flagless) vs Saba at quarter, Rybakina vs another flagless in semi. This coincidence has happened all the time though.

It may offend you but Gauff' tennis isn't on the level of Swiatek, Rybakina etc. She still depends on her opponent tennis on that day. But if they played at their peak, I don't think Gauff has a chance cause an attacker will always beat a defensive player that Gauff is🤔
@user-hm8nb5jr3w

@@abhimd3455I agreed Coco might still be better to match Rybakina, but Iga? she's been sliding down, not to say she has always struggled on hardcourt. I think both Rybakina and Coco should beat Iga, unless Iga changes her pattern with some surprises I haven't seen before. I'd pick Rybakina to win this tournament. Ostapenko made Iga look like a 2nd tier player at USO, Rybakina can do what Ostapenko did but can offer a lot more than Ostapenko.

Congratulations to Rybakina. No surprise here. If Sabalenka had problems against Boulter and Paolini it was expected that against Rybakina will be much harder for her as Rybakina is extra motivated and pissed off at WTA after Tokyo. People hated my last comment about Sabalenka when I pointed out that her biggest problem is mental. I would recommend to watch whole match instead just random highlights. She had 8 double faults (Rybakina just 1) in this game, and commited most errors in most important moments. Just watch how easiliy she lost her serve in 2nd set when then game was 4:2 and Sabalenka was serving. I doubt she will be able to win any tournament as #1 as her game deteriorated after becoming #1, additional pressure (people expect more from #1) is not helping her. Of course I can be wrong if she learns how to handle pressure but is very difficult to learn.
