if you winning Artosis you just so fucking bad. But if you losing him, you worse. Anyways, it's just Terran overpowered on this map, so he had no chance, it's not him it's the map.

"Look at that, he changed his build completely without scouting mine...." Artosis has played the same build for 25 years and he is surprised that people have evolved around it.

That siege splash damage finishing off the tank made me laugh out loud hard

I like how he brags about having SCV lead and at 2:15 he has 6 of them idle by the main CC.

he says that opponent was so far behind when opponent was down 1 supply and 1 scv (from 65/45). Add there 5 idling scvs and you get that it's artosis who was far behind.

"A tournament is where you do whatever it takes to win." And if you never practice doing whatever it takes to win, you get bodied.

not really true. if you go into ranked just doing "whatever it takes to win" you will come to rely on gimmicks, gambles, cheese, and luck. while these things are all valid strategies, if you don't practice playing "solid" you will get absolutely bodied in bracket.

Arty's opponent made a mistake and was playing from behind. If you are behind and try to play perfectly safe, you're basically just praying your opponent trips over their own foot. (this is how Arty plays) Or you can engage in risky behavior, try to slip the vultures in and regain control of the game.

Supportive Artosis opponent: I can't see when you move out, but when you do, I'll be there.

just a heads up for all those wondering from someone who actually watched the whole game - yes the opponent terran was good and yes artosis is just salty that he made a succession of mistakes. He would have lost either way though.

1:26 LOL, basically from this point on you can see opponents spider mines trigger, and then Artosis' nearby sieged tanks firing right as they hit, thus increasing the damage. Because there were 2 sieged tanks in the top right of the screen in range, it actually kills his own tank after the spider mine does it's damage. If you notice, this happens multiple times afterwards. Just after the mine hits, a siege shot rains down on his tank and the splash damage also hits his tanks...

Artosis is literally payed by random people to be angry ALL DAY LONG. That cannot be healthy xD

It's so sad. Had he just cleaned up the vultures he'd be even with his opponent or slightly ahead. But he decides the best thing to do is tilt and throw. With such a fragile mentality you can't play anything at a top level let alone broodwar

Vultures when used correctly are 100% the best units in the game they can be used so efficiently they are super quick, spider mines can be insane, they fuck up workers very good for scouts can keep mines at possible expansions to see when they expand

His macro was flawless, his micro impeccable, his decision making quick and his willpower unassailable. I suggest you watch the replay and take notes of his playstyle; encountering a player of such calibre on the ladder is an exceedingly rare occurrence. You should consider yourself lucky.

Is there a bug in replay? Artosis on 3 bases before minute 35? Also "I'm really far behind". 60 supply vs 61 and 45 scvs vs 44. Really far :)

Making a decision to send forward the vultures after losing the goliaths required intuition, it is not really a skill you can develop, more like a talent. Artosis cant handle if he sees this because he lacks that.

How does it happen that the mine is hit by the tanks before it explodes, but succeeds to explode before dying from the tank shots? A sieged tank kills a mine in one shot.

while artosis brags about how far ahead he is and how bad and stupid the opponent is, he is 1 supply ahead, 1 scv ahead BUT has 5 idle scvs in the main... artosis was the one behind because of his poor multi tasking.

Looked like his opponent was behind so he did a hail Mary attack while Arty was pushing to his base, and it paid off. Sometimes shit just happens, it was a good move by his opponent albeit a bit lucky.
