This was so fascinating! Great to see all the different examples and how the settings changed the outcome. Would be interesting to do this like every 6 months or something and see how it’s come along.

Thanks for a lot of useful input , looking forward to test out Magnific on both "real" photos but also on MJ versions. I actually had a blast using the weird/bad results of bad AI in PS Neuralfilters. So realism isnt always the goal as I am sure you agree....!

100% agree with you, realism is definitely not always the goal, but it seems to be a good benchmark for how the technology is advancing.

Oof. The price tag on Magnific is is MASSIVE and out of the range for casual use, especially after conversion to CAD.

Will finish watching this tomorrow, but AI hasn't even begun to disrupt creative arts in the ways it will in the coming years. I'm torn between the geek side of me thinking it's cool and the humanist side worried what this means for the near future.

@@ReneeRobyn I gave it a spin myself on a few things from MidJourney. I actually went into the '-' values for HDR to get better results. Seems hit or miss over all like you guys found out. Will try on some real photos tomorrow. Thanks for the video.

Pratik is a world class retoucher. Unfortunately, The AI money bus is backing up to everyones driveway. Im actaully suprised he is endorsing this. Trying to be kind, but I ran 60 images through the Image upscaler...and to be kind, its garbage. Its just jacking the clarity slider to the right. Dont waste 40 bucks a month on this. with 2 fingers in LR, you can do it yourself. These AI companies are spending big bank to sell you what you dont need.

Yeah the price tag is surprisingly high for what it does, I’ll definitely give you that. I haven’t been able to recreate what this app is doing in any other program though. The things it fails at, it does very clearly, but what it does well I haven’t found a replacement for it yet.
