  • @tomking7080

    @tomking7080

    Жыл бұрын

    @Wynn I agree but it’s not going to last. When you’re making millions like Jordan did that’s a different story. I definitely agree with you on that but in the end it does catch up with you eventually. When you’re making a million a month you can have a $50,000/month habit and it is not going to hurt you financially but if you are making $4-$6K per month it’s definitely going to hurt. At the end of the day it always ends badly. I was a junkie for about a decade. I got hooked on prescription painkillers which led to smoking black tar heroin and I had my own business with 10 employees. The worst thing that you can do is give a drug addict money. I’m very lucky that I’m still alive,I’ve had a couple really close calls. Twice they had to bring me back and that didn’t get me to stop using. Today especially with the fentanyl,I’m also lucky that fentanyl wasn’t around like it is today because I would definitely be dead. If you are out there struggling with addiction and want to get clean it’s definitely possible. If I did it then I believe that anyone can. You are just going to have to want it badly. It’s not going to be easy but anything worth something isn’t easy. If you get clean and then relapse don’t give up. Get back up and continue to try. It’s possible!!! I wish whoever is struggling the best of luck. It’s probably going to be one of the hardest things that you will ever do but in the end it’s so worth it.

    I was in the hospital to have gallbladder surgery. In my hosiptal room, they have a curtain divider and another guy was in the next bed. He had tourette syndrome and was constantly talking to himself loudly. It was so bad that I told the nurses to stop all my pain meds, so I could recover at home. It was very sad, and I felt horrible having negative thoughts about that guy, and he couldn't help it. However it will drive a person nuts, and if your locked up in a cell with a guy like that, it's got to be horrible. Having said that I'm glad artie seems to be clean, and I hope he can stay clean, but I doubt it. I hope I'm wrong.

    Sometimes it seems like the greater the comedic talent, the quicker someone dies by one means or another. Greg Girardo, Mitch Hedberg, Patrice O'Neal, Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, John Candy, Bill Hicks, John Belushi and so on. By that standard, Hannah Gadsby should live another 4,000 years.

    Joes somber "word up" after he tells joe he cut up 3 women and artie absolutely dieing is absolute perfect comedic timing. I wish artie was still on the radio in some fashion. Even a co host to joe
