So weird to hear him speak after so many hours listening to him sing. Thanks!

I know, right. It's like he was so ahead of his time that he didn't become more well known until after his death in 1992 (because of his problem with AIDS), which meant that he never marketed himself out too much, and therefore cannot be found in many pictures or videos.

i could listen to arthur read the phone book - what a marvelous voice it hurts to think what more he could have done had he lived beyond 92 i will fight anyone who disagrees with the fact that he's one of the all time greatest musicians/producers

I wholeheartedly agree with you. He’s by far one of the most special and most talented artist to ever grace the world. Such a shame he died at 40. He could have done so much more.

god it kills me. it kills me to realize the reality of what he was - potentially, the next bob dylan. not to compare and contrast. i am a 90s baby, i genuinely believe that is the degree of his potential. it's hard to digest. it's easier to just listen to him.

@@jeebydeeby you’re so right. It also physically makes me ill to think of what could’ve have happened if he hadn’t died. He was so great. Truly born to make music. There’s has never been someone like him and there’ll never be.
