With this pile of chews he looks like he's carrying a stack of planks off to his backyard where he's building a shed.

Beautiful relastionship you have with the ravens! People are often a pain... I`m not friends with ravens but with crows and many people don`t like them, some are scared, other people cross themselves and complain. But even the interested and nice people become a problem because too many start a conversation, have questions and interrupts the moments. But I guess people find it either too strange or too fascinating. But spring and summer is always a bit stressful. Many tourist here as well... We also have ravens here in the forest. I hear them sometimes but I rarely see them. I saw them 3 times last year and then I didn`t see them anymore at all until last week. I don`t know if it`s the same couple. Do you know how big their territories are? My daily route through the forest is 10km and I heard raven calls in 3 different spots in the past year. Ravens are rather rare here where I live and some decades ago they were completely extinct by people. Do you think it`s the same couple that has a big territory? I`ve never seen ravens before in my whole life so it`s really like a wonder for me when I see any.

I've got a few crow friends I feed. If the ravens catch me they get angry, so I have to be sneaky feeding crows. I'm not sure how big raven territories are. My ravens seem to have a bigger territory than other ravens on the Great Orme. I generally cover about 8km in the mornings and they follow me all the way. It possibly is the same couple you've seen if they're patrolling their territory. That's a shame they're rare where you are. When I first noticed my ravens I was busy looking at spiders and insects near where they nest. They used to watch me and fly close trying to see what I was doing. I didn't take much notice of them. Then 4 or 5 years later, in 2017 I started spending a lot of time at a seal colony where I made friends with a gull. The ravens would watch us and sometimes try and steal food from the gull. Unfortunately, in 2019 someone ran my gull over and killed him. The ravens noticed the gull had gone, and they knew I had food, so they started approaching me for the food.
