What an honest Q & A person rice is. Im proud as an English man for him to be on our squad and he always has a smile on his face before, during and after matches and we need to see more of that with other players from different countries in the premiership they can take a leaf out of his book. Before Bellingham came along I assumed Rice would be our next captain. Now it's hard to say, but I'd personally prefer Rice as captain and Bellingham as the talisman player

@@Siuuuu665 Different players really. Rodri is a proper deep lying playmaker whereas Rice is more box to box. Rice is at CDM because we don't have a better option. He does the job well though. He's there to protect the defence, not to do anything flashy.

It’s no coincidence that the impact Pep had on the leagues he played in with Barca, Bayern & City all partly mirrored the style of play & success of those national teams (and I’m a Utd fan). Also the impact of the managers from the Guipuzcoa region have had.
As a United fan he would've been the ideal partner for Kobbie. Arsenal are extremely lucky to have him, top class player.

Yeah a player is gonna admit they were outplayed in midfield and pushed back. Italy had much better midfield and Spain will dominate them in midfield as well. Southgate will get blame for sitting again

There are all kind of Spanish, some of us are well informed 😂 most of us know pretty well what England have; having said that, in Spain before the Euro no respected journalist put Spain in the best four : those were Germany, France and England and, a step down, Portugal. One of the most respected journalist put us as the 6th more powerful team.We expected to be one more in a pack bunch of other secondary teams like Belgium, Italy, Croatia, Netherlands...the development of the tournament has been a surprise for many here but of course as always there is people who thinks we are unstoppable now
