You were fine in Wordle/Connections. Your only issue was in Strands. Art. Again, I just have my Android phone with my Gmail app and do not know how to go about getting your COMPLETE email. Perhaps I am not meant to get this certificate. I DID make a wise decision, however, not accepting the Connections Clock/Mug as I don't need a reminder of Connections being my toughest game. I appreciate you and a few of the others acknowledging my contribution in this site with my extensive/interesting comments.

Connections GPYB - Contains "qui" YBYY - Keep safe YYYY - S words meaning keep safe PPPP - _____ Game BBBB - Catch (0 pts) GGGG - Still (0 pts) I'm honestly getting a bit tired of these decoys that could be legitimate categories. Are we expected to solve the entire puzzle before we make a single guess? To me, the Q category seemed much more legit than the Latin one. That being said, I have noticed that all the words in the decoy category are usually distributed such that there is one word for each category, so that has helped me get the correct answer.

Close solve again for Connections and was OK in Wordle/Strands. Was able to guess the 6 letter word "sample" in two tries: AUDIOS, SAMPLE.

I had INLAY in 4, GUAVA, RAISE, PINTA, INLAY. Pinta was a poor guess with the end of a already tried, but it gave me something. After Pinta, it took forever to get INLAY. I was convinced the word started with A. Cooking is the center point of my career, so it was a snap. I loved the connections. Challenging. I pulled quid and ergo straight away. Then I saw all the Qs. I decided to build my categories with a q word in each one. That worked. I saw the purple one first so decided to try for order. I did get the order no mistakes, but called green states of matter. Silly me.

I looked at each of the Q words for a different category too. Has been there MO the latest few puzzles. They must like the Rainbow of Shame.

Connections Puzzle #387 🟨🟨🟨🟨 put away 🟪🟪🟪🟪 types of games 🟦🟦🟦🟦 words in Latin expressions 🟩🟩🟩🟩 types of assets I think of a fixed asset as something like a bond that pays a fixed rate. I say “post hoc ergo propter hoc” all the time for my favorite logical fallacy and usually no one knows what I am talking about.

This can only happen to me, but this situation was a TRIP. First of all, I know a lot of Spanish and no Latin. I was able to light up the blue category/Latin Words by luck. I thought that all four words were a word play on animals. 😂😂😂

Wordle in 4 GUAVA CABIN FINAL INLAY Connections: No order and 2 mistakes, but all categories and under 5 minutes. 7/10 Getting the "Latin" Category definitely helped get rid of the "QU" trap. Strands: Perfect Score. To be fair, I watch a lot of cooking shows, so I'm familiar with all those terms.

I hadn't heard of toxic assets but apparently it came into use after the 2008 crash. I got the latin words after the storing cat so this one was ok and I was left with the games.

Squirrel away is not new. 👨🏼‍🏫

@@smbailey No chance for me to get INLAY first. This is not a word I am familiar with, so it would not have come to mind early. With the additional info given by Bylaw, however, I couldn't help but remembering I had seen that word Inlay before :)

Good job. I could not quite get the green category/assets which prevented me from getting all my categories.

Before that I had been stuck on a more literal interpretation, thinking along the lines of canned and frozen foods. Arcades are still to be found in the UK, including the famous Burlington Arcade in London, but also the much-loved Hitchin Arcade near me. Definitely classier than malls.

Got wordle in 4. Have been getting a lot of 5’s lately so was happy. Strands #121 “Heat and eat” 🔵🔵🔵🔵 🔵🔵🔵🟡 Connections Puzzle #387 🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟪🟪🟪🟪 🟦🟦🟦🟦 Strands and Connections look better than they were. Both took a long time to complete. Lucked into the games and assets category by making a lucky guess for the 4th word. Got the Latin by default but didn’t know the category and I took Latin in high school.

My solve was almost identical to yours...I did figure out Assets though, but I stared at the final 4 latin ones for a long time and then it just hit me..latin words.
