Ive watched several of your restoration vids, and this was my favorite so far, with all the close ups of the cleaning and the explanation of the process. It always makes me wonder, do you all know how long your restorations should last?

I saw this painting in the National Gallery recently and it looks wonderful. The colours, light and textures are amazing, she was a great artist. Thank you for all your hard work to bring the picture back to life.

It's amazing to see just how much difference the discolouration of the varnish makes. And how much care is taken to remove it without damaging the paint underneath. A job that requires expertise as well as lots of patience, to be sure!

I saw in another vid that this is a smaller version of a larger original that hangs at the Met in NYC

No. Gloves will make you less sensitive. The paint isn't so delicate that it can't stand a single human touch
