    Could you run over the brain cell problem to me via inbox? Its really quite difficult to comprehend, i didnt relly understand the part when it changes from 3 x / 2 and 5x / 4 ? just a bit hard to understand but im very interested

    Working backgrounds. We both have x brain cells at the end. This is a result of me giving you 1/3 of my brain cells. If I give you 1/3 of my brains cell, I will be left with 2/3. So at the end x for me is 2/3 of the brains cells I had before taking action. The reciprocal of 2/3 is 3/2. To undo my action we can compute the product of x and (the reciprocal) 3/2. Undoing the action I have 3x/2. We can now understand why you must have had x/2 before any action. 1/3 (3x/2) = x/2 and x/2 + x/2 = x. Now for the prior step where you give me 2/3 of your brain cells. x/2 is the 1/3 of your brain cells before giving me 2/3 brain cells. So before action, you must have had 3 (x/2) = 3x/2. 3 is the reciprocal of 1/3 that allows us to undo your action. The amount of brain cells you give me is 2/3 (3x/2) = "x". The "x" you give added to what I had resulted in 3x/2. x + ? = 3x/2 . We can solve for the unknown; we find x +x/2 = 3x/2. So I must have had x/2 before your action. Now for the beginning. After giving you 1/3, I am left with 2/3. Again the reciprocal is 3/2. We undo the action by computing 3/2 (x/2) = 3x/4. Meaning at the beginning I had 3x/4. I gave you 1/3 (3x/4) = x/4. x/4 + ? = 3x/2. We can solve for the unknown; we find x/4 + 5x/4 = 3x/2.
