Art journal series - An almost black and white abstract.

This abstract painting is almost in real time with loads of comments on my thought process. Anyhow, I had fun with a very very dark blue and white spread in my art journal.

Cathy, thank you so much for the printed tips. I'm a caregiver for my elderly mother and have difficulty listening to videos sometimes due to worrying I won't hear her if she calls. I really appreciate it! Love the piece!

Another fascinating, exciting, and informative video from you, Cathy. I knew that it was going to be something good the moment I saw your wonderful opening mark making with a palette knife. Great finished result. Thank you, Cathy. :)

Thank you. The journal is a 12x12 with 130gsm paper. It's from a german producer that I cant remember the name of right now. I'll post a link as soon as I have my journal in my hands again. ;)

Gorgeous Cathy! I’ve even looking for a large round brush that would give similar results as yours...what brand and size are you using here? ❤️

That is a fine line applicator. If you google it, you should find them online. I fill mine with acrylics and water. ;)

Lovely work! Please can you tell me what you were using for your 'crazy lines'. Love the delicacy of them. Is it fluid acrylic/ink? What is the make? Thanks!😊

I just fill the fineliner with watered down acrylics. I use Amsterdam acrylics.
