    Please don’t stop using your Big Brush markers because I’ve been slowly investing in them and building a set so I can color with you.😊

    Loved this and the page is beautiful. Please use what you want to use. If we see new things we can ask the places we shop and maybe they'll get them in. I enjoy seeing what they are using in other countries (I used to watch Attic Lane and miss seeing the British and French supplies). And I love when you do "back to my roots" videos like this one!

    Gorgeous art journal page!! Please keep using the Faber Castell markers. I’m thinking of getting them and love to see how you use them. Faber Castell is a wonderful brand and well worth the money. Because of you I started an art journal in one of your small journals. I’m loving it and wish I had more time for my journal versus what cards need to be made for friends and family. I know they don’t need to be made for friends and family but it’s hard to stop once you have started. Thank you for all your inspiration and amazing products 🥰

It doesn't matter that we may not have them, we can treat ourselves to them or encourage our loved ones to get them for us as a gift 🤭🤗😉😁❤🧡💛

    Your Faber-Castell finger-blending technique is what got me hooked on your channel about a decade ago. Because these markers are expensive, I saved up and purchased just a couple colors for shading purposes. Regardless of what products your use, I always enjoy your videos.

But I think you should use the supplies you want, even if they can’t be found anymore. That’s what you bought them for. And you always tell us alternative ideas we can do if we don’t have something. Which I appreciate.

We must be sure they are water-based markers. Crayola Signature Brush & Detail Dual-Tip Markers are a great beginner product to try out before moving to a more expensive marker.

    @@bambiroberts9333 oh they work perfectly! It's just a personal preference to avoid them becuase they take up to 100 years to break down and even when they do they contain microplastics. I can easily use 2 or 3 to clean just one stencil... so it is a big waste. Although lately I found that my grocery store sells biogegradable ones!

    Please tell me the difference between rice paper glue and any other (cheaper) glue? Do we really need a separate glue for every medium??

  • @vickyp

    @vickyp

    21 күн бұрын

    Use what you have, just do a test run with your glue. Here is what you are looking for: as long as it is easy to spread with a brush and it isn't super sticky when you apply the rice paper on top... giving you some time to reposition the rice paper if needed. Also make sure if you use it as a sealer it dries transparent, does not harden the page and it isn't sticky. These are the key factors. Oh and dries mat.... you don't want to start with a glossy layer.
