Finance for Everyone (F4E) is a new course offered at www.coursera.org/specializati... that will make you fluent in the language of finance and connect the flow of money to key social issues influencing our lives and communities. We will help you understand financial decisions and examine the connections between global and local finance - from big decisions made by governments and multinational corporations to day-to-day decisions made by small business owners and your family. F4E is a unique specialization built on timeless financial concepts that will enable you to better understand financial news and your own finances.
With 4 courses and a capstone project, F4E explores the flow of money through markets and institutions that create and destroy value. Each course provides a conceptual framework to add to your financial toolkit. You’ll learn to understand commodity, bond and equity markets. You’ll be able to manage cash flow and assess risk. You’ll be better positioned to take advantage of wealth creation systems and insulate yourself from financial distress and market upheaval.
