I wish these highlights featured more than the goals. Is he as clinical a finisher as the highlights suggest, or is he an Andy Cole type, who always required 8 chances before he puts one away? The test for Obi will come when the players around him start catching up, physically. Right now, he can bully them, but whether he can do that against players his own size will determine whether he ends up at Arsenal or Aldershot. That said, he has plenty more going for him than just his physicality, and I trust that the academy will focus on this and not allow him to rest on his laurels. One to keep an eye on for the future, for sure.

The thing I want to know about this kid, is that this season he’s got like 28 goals in the last 24 games or something (numbers might be slightly off), but he’s got like 21 goals in the last 7 games. So what happened 7 games ago that turned him into this

Exactly such great point , let’s see if he can maintain the goals until the end of the season. Working with Wilshire as his coach & the rest of the squad is certainly beneficial to the whole academy! Jack is doing an excellent service for the club & really supporting Mikel’s development of consistent excellence

At some point in the game, the Norwich coach needed to switch up the strategy. They should have doubled up, cut off the feed, switched to a low block, and countered. With the U18s, a couple of years can make a significant difference in terms of body development.

Obi is an incredible player

People need to chill it’s one thing playing against 17 year olds it’s a whole new world playing against fully grown men with fully grown man strength and pace in the best league in the world, let him develop.

No idea how obi’s 4th goal went in but congrats to him anyways hopefully we’ve got a living legend in the making..

I know right? You'd expect the keeper to do better, but not withstanding that it's unerring accuracy from Chido. Similar position to Odegaard's goal against Chelsea, but from the camera angle it seemed even closer to the byline and face to goal rather than back to goal.
