Any other era he'd be the best or one of the best strikers in the Premiership. Unfortunately for him he played in the era of Henry, Kanu, Berkgamp, Shearer, Van Nistelrooy, Rooney etc

This was played a day after Arsenal lost 4-2 to Charlton a day earlier. I went this game and day earlier. Man Utd lost a day earlier to Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield. A few weeks later Arsenal beat Utd 3-1 here in Premier League

This was the League Cup not the Premier League.

Good management of commentators here. They corrected their pronunciation of Edu's name in the course of the game. Both started with "Ee-Doo" and both finished much closer to the mark. 😊

Actually it was played about 6-8 months after that game (1-6 was 2000/01 season and this League Cup game was 2001/02 season).

Yes, it is the League Cup and not the Premier League as titled. But, why bring up the match from the prior season, played OVER eight months before? Completely different rosters. Arsenal did the double over ManUre in the PL that season too. WE also went on to win the league and the FA Cup that season.

The camera at Highbury made it look like a small place. But my god, what a place. What a crowd and what a beautiful sound it had. Still walk past the old home every time I'm in London Still makes me feel the same seeing the East end wall.. ❤

This game sealed the fate of Mike Riley the referee. After this game, the pissed off Fergie made Riley into a pussy for officiating by the rules. He became a bit*h of Ferguson and Manchester United culminating in the emasculation of himself in the 2004 invincible run ending game. Riley never recovered after that.

Out of all the big 6 teams arsenal r the only team to not put 4 or more past us and we also smoked them 6-1 and 8-2 we even thrashed them 4-2 at the Emirates it will happen eventually but i jus find it funny😂😂😂 even teams like newcatle,brentford,brighton, Leicester,watford all manage to do so but not them im talking abt in the prem btw
