Been hearing the same about Liverpool even when we got 97 points and lost one game that was against City . 1 cm defined that game . Kompany goal at Leicester.. Then the next time City were 2 down on 69 minutes ... they had come back and overtook by 82 minutes, Salah scores on 84 and runs to the crowd who tell him it's 3 - 2 .. Then u hear FSG this or if they had this player or that player it would have made the difference.. Pure lazy punditry ... What extra player could have done anything about City coming back ? Arsenal could do nothing about Son not scoring the goal he normally would 9 times out of ten midweek. So Arsenal have done as much as they could possibly do and don't believe for one second that one more player would have meant they won it. As ifs that straight forward.. players get injured or you buy them and they don't settle .. also to put said player in the team you taking one out .. who would you have not played ? What impact has that player had and would the player you bought have been better ? There's so many variables to it really annoys me when I hear the pundits saying Arsenal need a striker.. looking for such a simplistic analysis of what would have won them it. This teams can't scout good players for their team style, City went for Haaland n Liverpool went to get Nunez,also United went to get Hojlund in the name of competing with Haaland n non of them has done so to date,Liverpool again went for Gakpo n stil no competition for Haaland,no player wil ever get golden boot if Haaland is 100% fit,n no team wil ever get EPL as long as Pep is de. Arsenal went for Jesus cs they thought his a better 9,so as Haverts. Arsenal got a special player Nketia who was banging goals when Jesus was injured but no they ignore him. Haverts is useless no skill no nothing,he failed at chelsea n Arsenal went for him. End of the day, as disappointing as it was to lose out on the title, there was genuine improvement and forward progression from the lads. Able to go toe to toe with City in all encounters this season. Played some genuine great tactical football at times. Better able to grind out results where needed. Of course, inexperience and weaknesses still evident in the Aston Villa, West Ham losses and the draws with City and Liverpool. Drink in the disappointment, take a break and come back stronger next season.

I think the media needs to stop coming up with narratives like "City spent the most", "Liverpool have a shoestring budget", "Arsenal lack a squad depth" etc etc. All these teams have spent pretty much the same in last few seasons. Also, Arsenal had it in their hands all along till they lost to Villa and gave City the initiative. Stop downplaying City's achievements by stating other teams cannot compete with City.

To be fair, he was useless as long as Arteta tried to fit him into the midfield and play alongside Ødegaard. That made him wander around aimless and not involved, removed the spaces Ødegaard needed to thrive, pushed Rice further back in a more defensive role and left Arsenal with a worse no. 9. When Arteta played him as a no 9 the whole team clicked better (but he still is pretty bad at converting chances). That was even highlighted under their shock defeat against Villa, because Arteta decided to put Havetz in the midfield again and of course Arsenal was back to their poor form and lacked basically everything that made them good this season.

In all the matches we lost, it wasnt about the best team winning, it was all about arsenal being sloppy. Why?! Maybe Arteta has the answer!

I hate the way Manager of the season is awarded. We’ve seen players who haven’t won the league win poty or ypoty. Pep hasn’t done anything new or special, he’s just been Pep lol. Arteta was 2 points behind and smacked every “big 6” home and away. He or emery were way more deserving but we move.

Gabriel Maghaeres is a good defender but i think he sometimes overreact to certain situations. Prime example is yesterday against Everton, he cause his own injury by jumping himself on the ground and unfortnately he couldnt land well.

Let me explain the legal process for you because you're clearly confused. 2018-2024 is on its way, that's 115 charges currently being held in litigation and obstruction from Man City. The lawyers will have their day in court. Its like doping in Cycling, but instead of performance enhancing drugs its fair market value or commercial contracts, you can't hide from it. It's coming and titles will be stripped away.

It is NOT hard to compete with city if the others sides had better recruitment/scouting, City very rarely get it wrong on recruitment which means their sqaud is near to perfect with all positions covered for injury. Arsenal couldn’t be looking to win this title after they gave their comfortable lead up. City grabbed the opportunity and never looked back. They have done extremely well to challenge city this way. I’m a united fan but was nervous for them as the channel I was watching ( sky sports) kept switching from this game to that game making you wonder whether there’s been a goal. Usually you have to take charge yourself!! Don’t expect someone to do the job for you.

I agree, Man City still have the 115 FFP charges! How many did Everton have exactly? Just asking as I don’t remember 😅. And Everton and Notts Forest were both charged and both had points deducted this season right? So here’s the point I’m going to make (I’m Gooner btw). If they don’t do ANYTHING about these charges on Man City, what will that tell and show everyone? What does it say? Coz IF they let oil money club get away with this, where others have not, it will show the level of corruption in the EPL😒.
