This weeks results just goes to prove that no manager is actually close to Pep. You will never bottle alone!

I will tell you that Emery had Villa play the first half to plan. It was to hold Arsenal back, test the waters, settle into the game and take any opportunities if they come up. The second half Emery adjusted his tactics slightly, tightened up the team, brought on fresh legs wih Bailey and inspired the team to increase their intensity and energy... the rest is history...

Then in the 2nd half Unai Emery twisted the screws tighter and completely shut Arsenal out. Arsenal's loss yesterday wasn't at all a surprise. Its in their nature to fall off with just a few games to go. It happened last season and its happening again this season. This is Arsenal's character. As long as Arteta is their manager, they wont win the league title. Probably they can finish in 3rd or 4th position every season. Arteta is not rated highly...maybe around the 8th in world rankings. Still the highest rated are Pep, Klopp and Ancelotti. In fact, if you compare Arteta with Emery...the latter would still be a better tactical manager since he had won 2 or 3 europe league titles. Arteta has won nothing or maybe just the FA Cup with Arsenal only. Emery is humble while Arteta is boastful. Personally, I even predicted Arsenal to lose one match and draw two in the remaining games. That means a drop of 7 points. So can Arsenal still win the title? No chance...zero percent. City will win every game left. City is too experience to throw it away.

Best Sunday for Pep, everything falls into place, as it should.

I quickly changed my bet to Aston Villa win when I saw the sloppy way Arsenal started. It's very uncharacteristic of Arsenal to start on a slow pace and lower momentum. Arsenal players' hunger diminished upon seeing Liverpool's loss to Palace. Arsenal being Arsenal 😃

What Arteta is going through is no different to what Pep went through as well. When he would over think things and make adjustments that dont make sense to city fans and the public. All the ills of today's performance can be laid at the feet of Arteta's selections and substitutions. They were unfortunately emotional and arrogant. He believed that his coaching could override the natural dispositions of players. It was a pre-Dubai team selection with pre-Dubai results (plenty opportunities but an inability to score). As a fanbase we've been very superstitious about what happened in Dubai and how it transformed us. And of course we dont know all the secret sauce tactical, cultural, and psychological interventions used- but it is clear that one major visible transformative pivot was positional- Havertz as the centre forward, the 4 part midfield with Jorghino as base, etc. It is telling that the first game that we reverted to the pre-Dubai shape we got a pre-Dubai performance and result. Cause and effect. Let's learn that lesson quickly! Our flaws against Villa were entirely positional. And those affected individual performance. Im stating the obvious: Havertz should have started as centre forwatd not midfield. Jesus should have come on as a second-half sub- and then to replace Saka. Martinelli needed to start because this match was supposed to be a match for sprinters. Trossard should come on in his best role as high-impact substitute. Jorghino needed to start in the midfield and he and Rice could have alternated roles- on top or sitting deep- during the game according to the workload and to confuse Villa. Tomiyasu should have started over Zinchenko for defensive solidity. We all know what has worked in 2024! By messing with the line-up Arteta messed with the team's flow, and we are at a part of the season when flow is supreme, when muscle memory can serve you well to get over the exhaustion and injury line when you're knackered. Players should get rest by playing only 45- 65 minutes- not by sitting on the bench during their most productive period. A post-Dubai team selection puts away those chances we were presented.. Arteta's unnecessary tinkering derailed the campaign last year pre-City, and he needs to learn the lesson quickly that Frankenstein monsters dont work for title charges!. Let the team be the beautiful Monster that it originally was post-Dubai. Now is not the time to tinker and second guess. Play People in their natural positions!!! There's nothing as tiring as having to act against type- and the team today simply suffered from being miscast... Look, I love Arteta, but today he just got it horribly wrong. The other issue is that it is time we formally designate Unai and Villa at home as bogeys. The reason why this is important is that Arteta and this Arsenal have overcome every single bogey systematically. Lets officially put Unai and Villla on the bogey-destruction whiteboard and execute. Next to Bayern... We can still win everything by beating every team in front of us (and praying that City slip up at least once!)- the Super post-Dubai Team can do that with a cleverly used subs bench. Lets learn that lesson. Let's go, you Gunners!!!

The single biggest reason why Liverpool lost along with Arsenal, especially arsenal is that Arsenal are in this time not used to dealing with a European campaign along with a domestic campaign. Arsenal looked extremely heavy legged in that second half due to there exploits in the second half. Arsenal’s second half performance is down to the fact that they are competing in UCL. They are not used to this. Bayern took a ton of energy to play against. Arsenal looked heavy legged in the second half. Liverpool had tons of opportunities and had the energy, City destroyed their opponent. They are used to this multiple games and heavy workload, Arsenal isn’t.

This season is gonna be different because C115TY is going to get points deduction. I think all the investigation is all wrapped up but they're waiting for end of season for the hammer since this title race with 3 contenders is quite rare and it's good for the viewers, shareholders and investors.
