Excellent.. as always! We went solar a couple of years ago now. In our case, we were paying out 400(+) a month on electric (Arizona). Our home took 48 panels, and no batteries. We just sell back what we don't use and it gets credited towards the next months bill. So like, our last electric bill was -175. On the months we do owe, it's usually only a low to mid double digit bill. We still have the bill for the system (we purchased, not leased) each month. Although it's half of what our monthly electric bill used to be and it's much easier to budget.... so I can get more RC planes! I'm thinking of adding in some batteries one day, but it'll be way down the road. Like after the system is paid off. Good investment for any home owner. Congrats!!

Exactly the way we're doing it. We got 50 panels, for 18kw, de-rated to 14.5 or so on "paper"...hoping it works as well as expected, and we shouldn't owe anything, if we can use the credits by the end of the YEAR CYCLE - in our areas, this is how they setup the Tariff for the "private generation". We could also get "paid" $0.02 per kilowatt hour then PAY $0.10 per kilowatt hour (summer rate / winter is $0.06 first 1000kwh, then $0.04 for remaining used) We're going to switch out to Electric for water heater, more than likely, OR just add another. We'd also like to ass fin heater coils to our HVAC system so we can use some electric to help head and reduce our Propane bill, which we were just informed will go up 40% for next year!!! So about $250-300/month (Averaged out over the year)

This is a good size model. And, now that I recently retired I can spend more time watching reviews and tinkering with my planes.

Congrats! Hope you do!!! This Arrows is the first one we've had to "tinker" with to get flying well...all the rest have been so quick and very good straight out of the box, and basically to spec...that' being said, great flying BEAUTY now!!!

This is the same as the Durafly F4U Corsair of 7-8 years ago. Except this V2 has flaps. I still have my Durafly one. I ordered the retracts and canopy of the Arrows and it fits my Durafly to a “T”!

…or was it by Dynam. My Corsair’s wings snapped off after several flights. I had to install spars in them.

With all the Top Gun hype going around I really hope we get to see the new E-Flite F14 Tomcat on your channel. Looks awesome.

I completely bypassed the "Arrows" name in the video title when the notification popped up... just saw F4U-4 Corsair. Got excited and then saw the box when you opened it... WTH came to mind. Watched anyway... still waiting for the other 1.2m brand to ship from pre-order. Now to watch the maiden on this one.

No incoming shots heading your way. Completely understand "coordination" and patiently waiting. Seeing the teaser in the background during unbox/build/radio setup gives me hope that it is soon. In the meantime, I'm filling time with converting Cub S2 to 4S with reverse thrust and AR637T just for kicks.

If you're looking for max efficiency you need to keep those panels clean. Not sure of how you're going to do it, but please be safe!

Congrats! Correct Robert!!! Soon we will be able to crash into our very own private power generation system ;) Yippee!

That's awesome you guys got solar panels. I'd love to have one for back up when the power goes out to at least power the refrigerator and WiFi lol. A lightening bolt hit a tree right beside my window yesterday and scared the bejesus out of us 😱😫 lol and it knocked out my power for about 5hrs which sucked bad because it knocked out my WiFi and I couldn't watch Brian Phillips flying awesome planes and showing us his solar panels 😆 hehe ✌️

I shredded my index finger when I had the battery plugged into my Flite Test Pietenpol, but turned off the transmitter. It went full throttle right at me. In hind sight, I should have let it hit something, but I tried to reach around to unplug it.....

Probably my favorite WW 2 warbird!! Used to watch The Black Sheep squadron on TV. Only thing I don't like about this model is that nose art 😤

Which is the best all around Arrows 1100 , is the Corsair a harder to fly then P47 or P 51

I would be lying if I said I could answer, since we've only reviewed the two - F4U and P51. Both are good, but if you want me to pick, I'd say the T-28 is probably the BEST, since I love flying T-28's ;) Sorry to leave you hanging on this one! I also can't answer your second quesiton since we haven't done the P-47 1.1m for Arrows :(... Sorry

You have to be actually bound and hooked up to a plane for it to show up. Give it a try. SMART Rx has to be on and bound to the Tx. Give it a try! Thanks for the question. This is similar to TELEMETRY options.

Do you actually get an ar630 with it because i ordered it and i Wonder if i needs me to buy a new rx

Hello Brian using you tube to view your video how do I get to your links?? You do a lot with Mixes etc, when watched during the video tuff to follow, have you thought of taking stills of each setting, would make it super easy then to replicate them? I don’t get to fly but about one month a year in Arizona so not supper adept with radio settings! Bought a new NX10, really easy to see your setting on that NX8 orange back ground and blue you have set! PS love your videos and THAT WIFE does super job with the Camera!!!

Thanks Herb! Glad you're here with us, and understand you situation...fly when you can ;) As for Megan - she is a real pro on the camera!!!! As for following along on the Radio Setup, this can be a bit tricky, but if in doubt or if you're having trouble keeping up, at times, click the GEAR and see about slowing down the playback. This might be exactly what the doctor ordered, or maybe speed it up if I'm too slow ;) Thanks for giving this a shot and seeing how it works for you.

yap some time esc doesnt want to open retrac i change with hobbywing flyfun 40 amps 5v 6Amp
