I'm fortunate to be in an area where cumberlands and clovis points are in higher concentrations than most areas.

little suspicious of that Clovis find. looks like someone just placed it there. that is a once in a lifetime find and the fact that he does not act very excited or happy and also no creek stain on it.

Living in SW Louisiana only 40 miles from the Gulf of Mexico we don't have natural rock at all here and the points we find are usually on 2 or 3 inches long but every now and again we find 5 or 6 inch points and they are always made out of beautiful material. I found a 4 inch spear point made from what I call crystal and usually the crystal points are very crude but that was beautiful. I'm searching my pictures to show you but if I can't find them I will be making a trip to my father's house to take more photos

Would love to be a part of your hunting group as my father gave me the fever as a young girl ! Love hunting in the river in front of our house in the mountains of western, NC as my brother-in-law hunted the property since he was a kid and found many relics in the planting fields.

It's a surreal moment where the world stops moving for a min and your heart sinks to your stomach. I'm so fortunate to have found 5 fluted points in my life and I'm 28 . I keep saying that's my last . I found a broke cumberland yesterday. I'll post in the next video .

Sweet Bro, just posted two shorts of the 2 we found at Elkhorn Lake here in Kentucky. Was just out motorboatin and couldn't help myself bit walk the waterline. Found 2 and a base within 50 feet of the pontoon.

I was waiting for this kind of comment . Creek stain forms on a point in just a matter of days after eroding into the creek . The edges do have a bit of stain . Which tells me it washed out the rain before the rain I found it on

When you hunt sandy creeks like i do with sandstone gravel. It doesn't creek stain alot unless it's been in there all summer. Those big rock creeks stain them alot quicker
