Seems very time consuming to put together, thanks for the video, it's very helpful.
I wish you would have went into more detail about what you were doing, like which way the roof beams went.
Nice work!

/DId you use any anchor bolts or anything to tie the shed to the concrete? I might have missed it

I did use anchors, I didn’t film that process.
Can I store all my yard tools in there thanks bro I’ll fill it up full of all my stuff . Just buy me a lock please thanks bro lmao !! No for real though You did a great job brother!!

Great video! If you dont mind me asking, how many inches thick is your concrete from the ground?
@roadglassandmore9064

About 3-3.1/2 inches
How did you move it over to the concrete surface?

Picked up with another person, it’s not very heavy
Hows it holding up? Do i need any special foundation or can i put it directly on my concrete backyard driveway?
@roadglassandmore9064

You don’t need special foundation, it’s holding up on, it’s pretty flimsy but can’t beat the cost.
Do you think if it's sturdy? Can it withstand wind or gust?
@roadglassandmore9064

Pretty sturdy! But you will need to anchor it down.
Hi…. Did you use a concrete truck to bring in your concrete or did you use quickrete from local home store? If you used bags .. can you remember how many you used?

I think I have used about 52, 60lbs concrete bags .

@@roadglassandmore9064 Ok thanks! Great video , this was very helpful!
Does it have to be a cement platform or what else can I use?
@roadglassandmore9064

It doesn’t have to have cement pad, you can set it on anything, I saw people even use plywood.
Putting ours together we’re on the roofing part but this has been hell. Nothing lines up or has been bent bunch of crap!!

It’s pretty complicated to put together, I agree. But can’t beat the price though
Much respect, you are fearless to tackle this whole project on your own. I have done some research on this one and everyone says you need at least 2 people for it. You've given me the confidence I needed to go at it alone too. I will be doing exactly what you did including building the platform. Do you recall how many bags of concrete you used? were they 40 or 80 pounds each? I also noticed you didn't use rebar. Was that a conscious decision ? or you just didn't care? Also..any leaks during rain season? Thank you.

Thanks, I do most of the work by myself, but I would recommend you have someone help you with mixing and purring concrete! My back didn’t like that too much. I think I have used about 50 ( 60lbs)bags of concrete) . I didn’t use rebar because I don’t think it’s needed, there isn’t much weight to support. Also we haven’t had rain here since I installed it, but I did seal the bottom with some polyurethane caulking.
How did you get the shed on to the pad?

Good job. I did a dry pour and it didn't come out as well as yours

I don’t think a dry poor is good idea for a large area. But it’s just for the shed , so I guess it doesn’t matter too much

Curious to know how much the shed cost at the time?
@roadglassandmore9064

I think it was around $500 .
Would it be cheaper if you would call a concrete company to come by with there truck and pore?
@roadglassandmore9064

You are paying someone’s gas and labor on top of concrete cost. So it’s cheaper to do it yourself, but this was a last time I did any concrete work, I will be paying someone to do it for me , it’s way too hard and back breaking
@kchilz32

@@roadglassandmore9064 actually where I live there are concrete mixing trucks that once you have the area prepared for poring cement they will come by with a cement mixing truck and por it quickly then you would smooth it out.
what are the dimensions on the concrete slab?

The metal is very thin and dents very easily. But the shed doesn’t twist or move, I think it’s good she’s for the money.

@@roadglassandmore9064 The 10x8 storage shed is exactly what i need! or a 10x12 or 14 at the most > If i can pick up 1 end at a time and block it up. Where i can move it around on a dolly or trail ect,, Its going to be used over my water well. and a place to store some things and a riding lawn mower. Plus i want to concert the flooring
does it seem flimsy???

It does seem feel a little flimsy! But the price it’s worth it I think.
I bought the same one...nothing but heartache and backache. Parts didn't fit right, holes did not line up and to top it all, the doors will not open or close unless I use both hands and my back. I double checked all measurements, base is square, top is square and using a level all bubbles are centered. Piece of junk..I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE, EVEN IF IT IS FREE!

I feel your pain. Roof was very frustrating none of the holes wanted to line up. I actually made a few holes in the beams myself because they just wouldn't line up no matter which way I twisted the building. I wouldn't recommend this building to anyone unless it's pre assembled and brought to you on a trailer. Or pay to have the company that makes them come assembled it for you.

If you run the screws at an angle then drive them in they go just fine. None of mine lined up and I got them to go with a little angling. Very unprofessional craftsmanship on the part of the company but in the end it’s decent enough
