I bought my Kraton 6s blue a few weeks ago. Nice rig! I swapped out the radio for the good ol tactic ttx300. Now you need to add the Outcast 6s to the collection. I have both the Kraton 6s and Outcast 6s 😂. When I ordered the xmaxx 8s recently I kind of felt the same because I already have a MT Outcast 6s, but the xmaxx 8s is bigger. Hehe. I went with the Typhon 6s tbone racing front bumper. Most of the hardcore bashers use that one. We just bolt it right on top of the existing front bumper. Bash on!

which one do you preffer out of the kraton and the outcast?

@@amya3333 I prefer the Outcast for the "tricks". But the Kraton can almost do everything that the outcast can do. But it's more planted when driving fast (the Kraton). Less roll overs with the Kraton 6s. Honestly I love them both.

@@joseCalderon1976 thanks. I have seen a few videos were people have found it hard to control the power with the outcast. and they seem to have ironed out a few bugs with the kraton like the centre diff and the tyres.

@@amya3333 Yeah it's definitely harder to control the Outcast, but that's what makes it fun. I woud get the Kraton first and then maybe get the Outcast.

I know this reply is extremely late, but yes I will.

When it comes to out of box rc's Arrma is really good but has weak spots that need to be upgraded before it's hard bash worthy, I own a V5 Kraton, I always thought Traxxas E Revo as better but it has weak points as well to make it bash proof, I had an E-Revo with the castle system in it and it's tough but limited battery compatibility as well as the batteries often got ejected from a tumble the rtr tires were terrible mine ripped both fronts completely off first 6s run. As well the rear links would break really easy too the rtr steering servos crapped out alot as well was almost 300CAD more than the Arrma. In my opinion The Kraton is way more durable out of box and has more battery options as well as a more current platform, the Revo is and old design that has been revised to it's current state, you need to up grade most of the Revo 2.0 rtr to bash it hard but it's still super fun. I'm really enjoying my Kraton to date and it puts a huge smile on my face.

I've had 2 RTRs with Spektrum radios that were very nice. They are the DX2E model w/ AVC receivers. If Horizon had included that radio, I don't think there would been such a big deal about the new, crappy radio. Horizon really did mess up by switching to that bottom of the line beyond cheap transmitter.

Hey man, I'm just getting back into the hobby after awhile and I was going to jump back into traxxas but I saw alot of good things about arrma. Can you answer a question. I was looking for aluminium shocks for the kraton 4s "just ordered" and I couldn't find any specific ones for the 4s. When it comes to shocks are the model specific or more size based. Can you recommend any in particular. I tried searching the specs on the shocks but no joy on that front. Thanks for your time!

I dont know if will see this comment but if you do I bought the armma kraton v4 6s and i personally love it and nothing has broken yet and I'm relatively new to the hobby and had bad crashes

Hard to say. I would have said the 6s is a better basher, but I have been running the 8s a lot and it’s been taking everything I give it. The 6s is definitely faster though.
