Nice first Blast and Bash! I've seen other channels that would have hid breakages like that, but not on this channel. Hats off to you for a super Blast on an Awesome looking new rig and for showing the consumers just what needs to be done to the rigs with no "sugar coating" in order to save them some hard earned dollars.

Now that was a bash session! There's something special about bashing a rc to find it's first or next weak point. Its so fun and you get a since of exploration and excitement from opportunities for improvement!

Heck of a run/test! Enjoyed the curb maintenance and the wire tip (doing that one soon!). Those tires seem to be a big win. Hoping that improved plastic in the rear of the body works, I’m sure you’ll find out rapidly 😀 Thanks for posting sir!

Hey Rich.. having bought a v4 last year l keep finding my self looking at these old vids.. still learning alot every time. Ive now upgraded the servo mount and just got a set of new bearings. Also bigger fromt bumber.. will be looking at chassis and tower brace next ( m2c ) . Also hot myself some diff oil 30, 40 and 500 hope this will bring some power to the rear.. Once again.. u make it look easy.. sweet spot u got there.. Bash on brother

Like I always say, better to do the must have upgrades first 🤣🤣🤣. Or be that guy using a hammer and curb 👀. Will say the center brace held up perfectly 👌 as well as the motor mount and center diff. The tires performed wonderfully for brand new (not broken in). Very impressed with the handling box stock👊.

I think that most of us "normal" bashers would not need the upgrades you mention. For guys like you I suspect, from the get go, a stronger/thicker chassis is needed. BTW, thumbs up on the video.

Good video rich looks awesome looking forward to getting mine. Some good flips and driving as usual flying like a 🐦. I had the same issue with my battery strap on my outcast last week same as what happened to you. You sure put it through its paces liking the improvisation of the curb if you can't get to the work shop bring the work shop to you nothing a 🔨 and curb won't fix 😂😂😂😂.👍🤟

Thanks Brother 👍. Just keeping it real 👊. The stock brace likely let go at 3:39 🤔. Really not surprising or a big deal. Aluminum braces would've prevented it, but I chose to hammer on it bone stock. ARRMA makes the best RTR's on the market hands down 😍. Just need the basic add ons for harder bashing. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

These trucks are so tough😂 I had a slash 4x4 and couldn’t keep it from breaking. Every single run it broke. I’m still gun shy when taking out an Rc because of that car. I’ve got a kraton V3 with a ton of upgrades (JBIRC chassis) but have babied it because I’m still scared to break it like the other. I’m slowly gaining back confidence with every video you post!

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot." At least you were blessed to use it for a little while and have videos to go with the memories.

An EPIC first run my Friend!!👊👍Thanks for the shout out! I absolutely Love the V4 Typhon! who knew a buggy could fly so well and take such a beating! Sucks on your early breaks...I replaced my braces with Voltage before I even turned on the power switch for the first time!😜I knew I'd have a twisted mess if not! That upside down floater at 7:50 was SWEET!!💪💪The radio is definitely taking getting used to. I like the control options, but the throttle is way to touchy IMO. Getting used to it though. The antenna tube needs to be glued in place too. Kept popping out! lol Anyway, Super vid and bash Rich!! Look forward to more with this piece of Art!! HUGE props to ARRMA!!😎👌👊🤘✌

Yeah I wasn't surprised at all about the chassis brace. Just wanted to run the truck bone stock the first bash for people to make their own judgments. We both know what these rigs need for doing regular hard bashing 💪. I gotta agree about the controller and antenna 🤣🤣. I'm seeing a spare Tactic in my future. Appreciate the kind words Brother. Nice bash, great to see you show the good with the bad in terms of breakages. It helps no one when channels just show a car that's 100% perfect but in reality has had a breakage. Love the zip tie mod I've a few cars I'll be doing that on tomorrow!

@@BeardedRC definitely the Notorious for me mate.. I like the monster truck style and i found it easy to control mid air for back flips etc... oh and it looks amazing too. I've not had a go on a Talion but a lot of people say it's as not good for bashing.. 😊😊

Probably the toughest and fastest RTR rig out there, and a big step up from the 2017 v3, but still not Duper-Proof :) :) As always Rich massive air and crazy skills. Glad you love the tires, handling and styling. Happy bashing buddy.

Awesome video Rich! Just simply awesome jumps and rips. I sure like my v3 Kraton, but I think the M2C chassis, Voltage braces and the front upper hinge pin brace, and skid plates is a must upgrade along with adding shims to tighten up the front and rear diff pinion mesh. Still cheaper than getting a racing 1/8 scale truggy kit and turning it into a basher.

If you replace the chassis with the M2C goliath, is it OK to leave the tower to tower brace? Or is that just unneeded weight now? Is it actually recommended to remove it, or keep her around for even more Strength?

@@EastTactics you honestly don't need a tower brace when running the M2C Goliath Series chassis 👍. Not going to hurt to run one anyways, but it is just added weight and more hassle getting to your center diff and reaching other hardware. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Battery strap on my v3 did same thing. And I couldn’t get it threaded back through to save my life. Luckily had a new one sitting around

Awesome first run/bash with the V4 Kraton bro. Hats off to you brother. Talk about bashing and serious wrenching in same session! That's Dedication I gotta say!! T2T brace held up tho. Too bad chassis Bent on first bash. I'm so grateful for the M2C Goliath chassis truly addresses the chassis bend/flex to the core. Which is a huge deal to me. What you think about the tires bro? Better than V3? I'm excited about the easy access center diff and sliding motor mount. Bash on brother.

Great Bashing Brother! : ) I believe if you had a 1/4" 15 lb. solid steel chassis plate on 12s you would find some way to bend It! : ) You bash Harder and faster then 80 percent of use will ever do but we keep bashing and Love trying to follow in your footsteps and others like Thomas P. , RCDUDE81 (Eric) & others! Dude you bash the shit out of your rigs. Very well done! I do a single jump with a perfect landing and I start hearing funny noises 🤣 and breaking parts by the second and third jump. Great vids bro👍

@@CrespoRC that's a tough call Matt🤔. The new updates are significant and truly awesome overall 👍. That said, the M2C chassis is a game changing durability upgrade 😍. It doesn't bend and really doesn't require any form of tower bracing so long as you're running aluminum chassis supports 💪. Building your rig around the Goliath Series chassis sounds like a great idea 😍👍👍😎💪👊👊

Hardest basher on KZread at it again 🤣 Right out the gate you broke the chassis brace and bent the chassis 🤣 Good thing the M2C chassis and aluminum braces are readily available 👍 Props for the fix in the field!

It felt strange not following the basic advice I share with others, but it demonstrated some things. I'm super impressed ARRMAS new center brace held up so well 😲. This new V4 felt Killer despite the minor set back. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪💪💪👊👊

Great video as always. I'd like to see a mini video of what tools/parts you normally bring with you when you go bashing. Guessing it's a bit more than just a couple hex keys. :)

Thanks Foye 😜!!!! I bring a bin with RC specific tools and drivers plus flathead screwdrivers, my mini hammer, Tekno shock tool, tapes, kind of a mix of stuff. The only thing I still need is a portable butane soldering iron for field emergencies 😜🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Brother 👊!!!! I was actually struggling a bit adjusting to the STX2 controller 😜. The wheel and trigger throw and tension is definitely different from the old Tactic 🤐. It's doable just very noticable in the air. 🍻🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

Your an awesome driver. Don’t think arrma could do any better. Landing hard on the roof is always going to bend or break stuff including rip battery straps and loosens bolts in the braces, separates the driveline. I’ve learned to smash into the nose as the best case scenario for crashes. If you land on the tail 🙏, pray that you don’t break the wing mount bolts into the shock tower like me. 🤪. I don’t mind breaking the plastic wing mounts. But without them the entire rear end is in jeopardy. Bash on brother , always watching your vids. Talked to horizon hobby about you, and they love you man. If you havnt already asked for more products you should cause they will pretty much hand you anything you want. You did it man killing it out there brother

Thanks so much Justin 😊. Just relived a few hard landings reading your comment 🤣🤣👍. I don't mind breaking wingmounts either. Cheap and easy to replace. Horizon and Arrma seem to be gaining serious momentum together 😍. I'm stoked about the direction Arrma is headed. These new models are fantastic 👌. Not a fan of the STX2 controller, but I understand the switch to Spectrum and am curious to learn more about the Spectrum Smart technology that's being released. 🍻👍👍😎💪👊👊

Nice test Rich. Shame about the chassis I wish they came with the must do upgrades out the box. Maybe V5 will fix it :) Other than that it looks epic.
