My friends made fun of me putting tape on my chassis to protect it and keep the "new look" a little longer. I FEEL SO MUCH MUCH BETTER KNOWING JAYTEE DOES IT AS WELL 😂😅

I spray the inside of all my bodies with a light coat of black Gorilla Glue epoxy. Looks professional and makes the body way more durable‼️

@@iprincemajestic2.0 that works for the body, although i meant the tape on the bottom of the chassis lile jaytee showed, but i also use it on the inside of the body to strengthen it

You're not alone mate I do it to all my RC's.. Heavy duty cloth tape over everything and it not only keeps the chassis in good condition but stops any screws from backing out..

The body is literally the only thing bringing people in to buy this truck . The 6061 aluminum makes it hard justifying spending $700 plus whatever I want to upgrade

Thanks for doing the size comparison vid jaytee. Now I've a far better clue to just how big the new big rock is. Great all the arms and stuff are interchangeable...

I love how you mentioned that when Arrma comes out with new trucks everyone expects them to redesign every truck from the ground up. And if you want tuffer better trucks they cost more money. Great comparisons definitely want a brcc 6s

Hopefully next they will redesign the battery tray. The Velcro straps are a pain in the neck to change out or put in

​@@ethang2731straps are always the way to go. Clip systems like on traxxas trucks might be easier but it makes it a huge headache when trying to run different size lipos.

Best mod i did on my Fireteam was moving the battery back. That and earplugs in the center diff and its an any speed wheelie monster even with the speed pinion. I've went thru both colors of plastic on my Fireteam. It'll be getting the Bigrock conversion as soon as parts are available.

Cool comparison, I converted my fireteam into a kraton xl. Very solid platform. I did use kraton axles and hubs which added some width to the truck. I’ll stick with my converted fireteam.

Good work JT! Thanks! Jennys im sure will have the plastic bits cheap for the conversion. I didnt know about the battery tray moved back. One of the better 1st mods to do on the FT. With the same tires, I dont see how they can handle any different. Id argue the price point stems from the "new" factor, as I remember the FT being ~$750. I could easily see this BR being $600 next year.

The position of the battery tray helps as well. With the receiver in the battery Trend different position it does help the performance of the vehicle and handling. Can't explain it you'll just have to drive it and see. If you were close I'd let you take it for a test drive :-)

I think this Big Rock 6S is roughly comparable to the Savage Flux XL...long wheelbase MT with big suspension travel. Watching videos it seems to have some handling characteristics that remind me of the Savage XL. Higher CG though on the Savage.

Super curious if you can do a short or a pic of the 6s Mojave next to the fireteam and the Big Rock

Couldn’t agree more 😂 the big rock name is getting too used. Maybe revamp the Fazon name an really get nuts making a 1/5 scale looking Fazon minus the T brand E revo suspension

Big Rock has an amazing Body and it's a great effort by Arrma, BUT They are the same Jay, different tires and pinion.... They should handle almost Identical, you put the same tires on them and there the same.... Not knocking the BR, JUST made me wish I grabbed a FT when they were $400.....because 700 for essentially the same thing🤔🤔

You opened the floodgates, we now want it compared to all the things!

I wouldn't mind paying $399 for it 😅 but $699 is steep .

The only talking point most have with this truck is the body which I will say is amazing however for the price point it’s not really innovation ..sure the body is good but don’t take away the fact it’s 6061 stamped aluminium chassis and shock towers which bend easily for a harder bash so there is another $250 on m2c stuff there plus chassis braces as well these have all shown to have bent in first time bashing videos on KZread ….at a bare minimum for that price it should have been exb 4 mm 7075 chassis and 5mm 7075 exb towers and 7075 braces then I’d buy …great comparison video my friend

Bashing is a choice, Arrma's marketing for this truck didn't include any ridiculous jumping and moronic skate park runs. Some people just want RC that can speed rip, and this truck surpasses those expectations.

Part numbers are not the same on their sit. Huge down side if we have to wait to long for m2c. Sure they will only be different holes if that is the case. Also could be the same just dif numbers. Sure we will find out soon as people start to get them.

Lol. When the Fireteam came out, a lot of people b*tched about the body. NowArrma gives them a truck body, and they’re b*tching that it’s just a new body on a Fireteam. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. If it cost too much for you, wait for a sale, buy it 2nd hand, or….don’t buy it. If you don’t like a $700 truck with a 6061 chassis, don’t buy it. I’d say go buy a Sledge instead, but oops that’s a $700 truck with a 6061 chassis. FFS some people just have to whine for the sake of whining, and are absolutely certain the rest of us want to listen to their b*tchfests.
