Arriving in Lebanon (Economy Crisis)

The currency / money lost 90% of its value in Lebanon. I'm in Beirut to understand how its banking crisis is causing multiple exchange rates leading to hyperinflation, and total collapse.

Why don't you first show all the homeless and economic problems, inflations and corruption, bank problems and poverty in Argentina before talking about other countries. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hYaKw6uAisjeY9Y.htmlsi=HKytek_mq_Pc-efK Or even better why dont you show how countries like Israel are killing innocent people.

Lebanon was my home. I grew up with so much resentment towards the rich people who all they cared about papi this and mami that and how their family is ouf so popular and well known "walaw", everyday with a different new car and phone. The poor Lebanese people knew about this government corruption and knew how rich their families would get for decades but didn't care to revolt with violance because they care about peace more and fear for their lives. So they have been bullied around with money and agreements with government officials to sell their livelihood for cheap. Lebanese people let this issue drag on for so long as it was their comfort zone, "oh there is hope, you will see inshallah God willing God will smile upon us one day and make this beautiful country return back to its former glory". I sat and watched my grandparents, my parents, my cusins, my neighbors , my friends all say the same thing over and over again. All this time they were in denial, and didn't believe in something called "false hope". My message to the Lebanese people, rich or poor, if you continue to vote for the wrong people and do not do anything to contribute to your country, all will fail. Stop with your, "one day it will be okay"...start acting if you are an influencer and got the support, the rest will support you too. Don't be that rich mami and papi, and oh my family is well known for this and that. If you love your country do something about it or the remaining population will end up like me..an immigrant with no roots or home to go to. Sadly I do not have the influence or financial support to do any change in Lebanon other than donating to the red cross when incidents like in 2019 happen. I encourage Lebanese people who are suffering together to work together, fight corruption, those who are educated and got their degrees use them to contribute to the economy (don't frame them) and hold the corrupt people accountable with all your might. Because if you can't put up a fight, all will be lost and you will be held hostage in your own beloved country with the media tainting your reputation and assocaiting the good Lebanese people to the corrupt government. I have seen it all..and I left it behind me, didn't have the chance to see my grandparents be burried because nothing has been affordable. Just an immigrant surviving and counting my blessings.

The best way for Lebanon to move forward is to join economic forces with moderate countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, Oil rich gulf countries, and Israel. Time for Lebanon to stop its "friendly" relation with failed states like Syria and Iran.
