Oh Bob & Jenny, we both were so excited waiting for this video and if you had seen me clapping and shouting -"There it is" as you approached the centre of Thirsk and the clock tower appeared, you both would have laughed! That scene bought back such wonderful memories of finding James Herriot Country after 20 years away and with our 2 Canadian born teenagers, touring the Vet surgery and museum across the street. We had fish and chips right there in the centre of town and met a lady who told us about a new B&B just opening up. It turned out to be in the home of what used to be the piano teacher who taught his children. The B&B owner was a rally buff and gave us maps of some amazing "B" roads throughout the North York Moors, enroute to Askrig and Hawes. Great site seeing trip but definitely not suitable for your rig though Ha! Can't wait to see where you go next! Thanks for the memories. Love seeing the new RV's even if it is just to imagine us having one and being back on those winding roads, as we watch from our recliners!

New sub from the US, I love your driving videos, the round a bouts, the yellow red lights, the rick rack paint at stop lights. Between you and TravelingK utuber I’ve seen lot of the beautiful villages and crazy roads, love watching!

Thank you, I always like watching driving in the US. I often watch a motor bike channel called The Smoaks Vlogs. They are in Washington State and I'm amazed how quiet the roads are.

Coming to the show on Sunday, will look out for you both.

120 digital tv channels.

As a visitor from the colonies, I found the "painted-on" roundabouts almost impossible to see before decisions need to be made. The elevated driving position of your van certainly seems superior in this regard.

Yes they are difficult to see sometimes, especially when the paint has worn off.

Yes, often wondered what it would be like to try a caravan. I always fancied a Land Rover, seemed a good idea.
