Great video & camper van. My Dad was born at what is now Strathclyde Park. Strange you may think because there are no houses but the village was demolished & is underwater. Beautiful place to live & camp.

@ Bob Earnshaw, It makes me happy you both enjoy coming to Scotland so much. Unfortunately, we're not having very good June weather this year. Sorry about that! Mostly heavy showers, interspersed with bright sunny spells nearly every day so far.

We're getting our m/home ready for just a short trip to Chatsworth, we have a new van so this really is a test run to see how it goes. Will be planning longer trips later on. Watching your trips is giving us some great places to try. We have only been doing this for about a year so pretty new to it all.

Chatsworth is a lovely site, but don't arrive too early! One o'clock is the arrival time there due to the narrow lane into the site.

I realize it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good place to watch new series online ?

I hate being stuck on the isle of Wight it's costs so much before you even start with the ferry costs for example to travel at a normal would cost £246 return but if you leave on the 1am boat and return on the midnight boat you can travel for £99 big difference in cost

Great video. Im originally from Stirling and recommend the Blair Drummond site which is on your route i think. A bit nicer than being next M74 🙂

I don't have to take the cameras down, but also it keeps it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, plus one of the side blinds is broken, awaiting parts. 😁

We never use the WiFi on sites. We have a mobile WiFi router and the mobile signal is very good, so close to Glasgow.

The traffic noise sounds horrendous!

Thanks, we make sure Poppy does not keep barking, we have people across the road who seem to leave their dogs barking all day.
