Poppy reminds me of our Westie Jack. On the lookout for squirrels and when we were at Hawes recently the Rabbits drove him mad.Such a character they have.

Poppy's nemisis are the pigeons.

We got stuck at the junction that goes to York A64 on the M1/A1 the Wetherby lane was moving our map book was in the back, i just looked at your map to see where we would have ended up ha ha.

Have a loo at carefree caravanning Bob. They’ve just put a video out detailing exactly the problem with your airbag. Really easy to do just follow his instructions.

Great review of the site. We didn’t really enjoy it when we stayed there last time. I think the dog walk wasn’t great and we didn’t think it was very secure, which was a problem because our dogs like to have a run off lead and it’s next to the busy road. Also for some reason we couldn’t get a signal so we paid for the site WiFi and couldn’t get that either! The good news was the restaurant was open 😂 we had the takeaway which was fine. We’ll have to give it another try some time. Thanks for sharing.

I wasn't keen on Poppy being off lead there either, seemed to be gaps she could get through. The Vodafone signal was good there though.

Yep, we had exactly the same issue. Airbag light on dash, then intermittently the seatbelt light on centre panel & dash would come on a for a time. When the seatbelt light came on we then got the annoying “beep sound” every few seconds and the ridiculous warning message “ check handbook” which was more than useless. A relatively simple fix (ish) but in our case we had to get out some tools and send off the AB module for resetting.

Interesting video ,views good, The site is very neat and set out, and Poppy enjoying her walkies, as usual, weather at Felixstowe was lovely until Lunchtime and all the thick mist rolled in, and very cold, so glad we put jumpers and coat jackets,Cheers Jenny and Bob, Poppy,

Had the same airbag message a few weeks ago. Went to the dealers where we bought it a year ago and they said they had a checker that could correct the error . Failing that it would have to come out and be repaired. Hope you get yours fixed.

If you need a drier place to walk Poppy , as the dog walk never seems to dry out this time of the year, turn right out of the main gate and walk along past the houses and there is a lovely play field on the right.

You have to remove panel on floor where battery is and lower plastic piece at bottom of dash then airbag module is underneath. Disconnect battery then check connection on airbag module. Carefree caravanning posted a video the other day about this problem

Hi, personally, I think the price of the pitches on should reflect the facilities. That site is over £50 per night, yet the bar/ restaurant is not open, so basically, you're paying for something you're not getting. Anyway, enjoy yourselves.

This somehow looked different to what I was expecting if that makes any sense at all. I’ve nearly booked in a number of times but never actually visited. The new toilet block looks good. Worth a visit!

There was a bigger queue at your local site at Southport on Thursday. Still disappointing they have resolved the issues with staffing the restaurant, as our nearest club site would make it ideal on a Friday night instead of chilli. Facilities look good otherwise.

Happy Easter to you all! We were hoping to get away for Easter, however by the time we confirmed time off work, most sites were booked up, including CMC & C&CC. So we, (I) opted to stay home and get some jobs done on Tia instead! Dogs not too impressed with this decision though!😂😂 Safe Travels

We have the Thule Elite G2 bike rack just fitted as we have the same cyrusher as you have. We bought the fat tyre rail to go onto the carrier to accommodate and we remove the battery to make the bike lighter on the rack

Seems a bit pricey Bob but I guess it’s Easter tariffs. Nice spacious pitch in the opposite corner this time. Knaresborough is a beautiful area and I think we need to return at some point. We are heading north on Wednesday so may see you on the A1. 😃 Trev n Sue

We knew it was only open for take aways. They're struggling to hire a manager. Same as a lot of pubs.

Great video as usual Steve. On the water in the footwell. I've noticed water ingress at the bottom of our hab door, though not as bad as your problem. What I have noticed with ours is the hab door isn't square in the opening and when I close the door, from the inside I can see daylight at the bottom. Just a thought,but have a look and see if your door is square. Hope you continue to have a great time and keep up the great work.

Roaming Radfords. They have a kontiki too but a different model to Bobs. They are having a bad leak in door. Their van seems to have had quite a few issues too with ground clearance which caused damage.

Hiya Bob found out last year they had banned dogs from the wanderer 😮 apparently someone complained about dog hair's on the restaurant floor so they banned dogs so I've taken it off my favourites list unfortunately 😢

I'll be using the A frame for the first time to tow the UP from South Wales to the Lakes at the end of the month. I'm a bit concerned about motorway services parking, but will just have to see 😮. As regards putting the UP on the pitch with the moho...is this generally OK to do and any additional charge?

Anywhere but Lancaster! Gloucester on the M5, Norton Canes on the M6 Toll are pretty good. I've never been charged extra for pitching the car, some private sites try to get away with that. It's the same as caravan and car?

Bob, there's an article in this month's MMM (again, seems it a common fault) on how to fix. There are people who can repair the faulty unit.

Crash Data in Liverpool will relieve you of about £80 for the privilege.. happened to mine just over 12 months ago then the airbag light came on for a second time.. decided not paying that again so contacted Peugeot customer service centre and complained, managed to get a replacement ECU fitted at main dealership FOC. My van is 8 years old and well out of warranty so I think that is an admittance that there is a manufacturer issue.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo they should do, your van is quite a bit newer than ours also. I would just ask your dealer for a customer services phone number, when I originally spoke to someone they were French, maybe you’ll get some Italian help.

Mine comes On when I put cruise control on then goes off when I switch it off very strange

Just a general question - how do you guys feel in general about the current prices of most pitches with the caravan and motorhome club. We have been members for 9 years and struggling to get our heads around the massive increases in price. I know the cost of electric has risen, it does seem independent sites are a lot cheaper as a whole in comparison.

I don't particularly want to get into that discussion, prefer to leave it to Facebook. We've paid similar price at private sites. What is easy to forget are that CMC site prices are inclusive. Private sites often charge extra for dogs, awnings, extra cars, showers, electricity, and even car parking.

That body rattle and crash over uneven surfaces would drive me mad as well as the alarms and warning signs. Are all motorhomes like that ? You can hear it loudly on the video. I suppose that is one of the benefits of a caravan, you are sat in the car in comfort both physically and audibly.

Should be better, filmed it in 4K. Check your settings on KZread, sometimes they choose the lowest settings to start with.
